Leicfox Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 Just been reading Sky Sports scout reports and this lad featured... Sounds promising.. The scout reports... Scott Donnelly is one of the most exciting young talents in the lower leagues of English football. The 21-year-old is a skilful, industrious midfielder who is tipped for a big future in the game Donnelly came through the ranks at Queens Park Rangers and made his debut in the first-team at the tender age of 16. Injury interrupted his progress at Loftus Road, but he has shown his undoubted potential at Aldershot. Donnelly has established himself as a key member of the Aldershot side since his arrival in the summer of 2007 and he has placed himself in the club's folklore by scoring the goal to secure their promotion to the Football League. The versatile performer has shown he has a key eye for goal and his performances have attracted interest from clubs higher up the football pyramid. The scout says Donnelly has all the attributes to play at a higher level than League Two. The attacking midfielder has a bundle of talent and is a real dead ball specialist. Donnelly has outstanding ability on the ball and with the right nurturing he could go a long way in the game. The Scout rating... Shooting: 8 out of 10 Passing: 8 out of 10 Tackling: 6 out of 10 Heading: 6 out of 10 Pace: 7 out of 10 Vision: 8 out of 10 Current ability: 7 out of 10 Potential ability: 9 out of 10 OVERALL SCOUT RATING: 59/80 Current value: £750,00 Potential value: £3million
