He keeps winding us up with tales of the excellent weather, going sailing etc while we are virtually snowed in. Tell me it's not true, please.......... I got sun burnt boxing day and new years eve, wore shorts and t-shirt every day for last 2 weeks.

Pearson seems happy enough with the squad and there are certainly no areas that need immediate attention, especially now that there are goals coming from other areas of the team (Morrison, King). If we were going to sign anyone i'd like it to be a right back. Nicky Hunt is out of favour at the moment and would be an excellent replacement for Nielson who sadly just isn't good enough.

Ran at our defenders, played some nice passes passes and the goal was quite something too. Currently on loan from Sheff Utd but would like us to have a go at buying him or a player with similar attributes. Think someone like that could add alot to our side.

Callabinho Posted 8 January 2010 Posted 8 January 2010 Seriously we do need to sign some players be it a winger or defenders! take forest for example they ripped us in two so i think we need to get some pace in, and get Oakley off the right wing. plus Astrit Adjeravic will be gone by the summer, im not sure why he isnt getting played i was impressed with what i saw of him, could it be another hussain kaebi and sergio hellings? but we do need some pleyers in any ideas?

The January window is not one that I’m particularly keen to be active in as I think you tend to pay inflated prices. There’s a lot of speculation of players coming in and out and I try to distance myself from it. “Any players that do come in will be because we feel they can improve the squad, but apart from that I don’t really have any intentions of doing a lot of business at all, if any.”
