Finchy Posted 14 December 2009 Posted 14 December 2009 Can't beat Joe Strummer, that is awesome. I did meet Slash though, in the Natural History museum of all places. Best school trip ever really.
StanSP Posted 14 December 2009 Posted 14 December 2009 Bruce Willis in Las Vegas. Also Sugar Ray Leonard and Wee-man at the same place Trevor Brooking. Gary Mabbutt John Inverdale the other day at St Pancras. Didn't 'meet' him but he looked like a right moody git and has put on quite a bit of weight. Can't think of any others right now.
Darkzzz_ Posted 14 December 2009 Posted 14 December 2009 Christopher Samba and Gael Givet after their hammering at Arsenal and our away trip at Millwall last season. We met at Burger King, oddly. I was once behind Stephen Gately in London, quite enjoyed it actually.

I did have pictures but god knows what happened to them. I was the same. I didn't have a freaking clue who the person I gave a brief lesson on LCFC on when I told him. It was only when the person in charge of looking after him and told me 'oh his uncle was JFK and his sister is married to Arnie' Oh, thanks for telling me NOW!
lavrentis Posted 14 December 2009 Posted 14 December 2009 Also met Danny from Emmerdale and Gemma Atkinson who I swam in the same pool with who both were at my hotel in Cyprus. They were playing tennis in the pool.

Samu Posted 14 December 2009 Posted 14 December 2009 I met James McAvoy at a party a few years back. I also met Hayden Panettiere this summer and she spoke to me and touched my arm!
Salieri Posted 14 December 2009 Posted 14 December 2009 I was working on a caravan park at Lands End when out of the blue, Frank Bruno turned up (it was during his "nuts" phase). He started asking me all sorts of questions from how much the caravans cost to where could he buy those picnic benches?! He mentioned he was gonna be DJ-ing down at a local club and asked if i was going down there that night. I said yeah so he gave me a signed picture with his mobile number on (!), he signed it lots of love Frank! He told me to ring him when i got down there and he'd get me in for free. I went down there and told the bouncers Frank Bruno said i could get in for free, and they were like "yeah whatever mate" so i phoned Frank and he said "put him on the phone". So the bouncer talks to Frank and true to his word, good old Frank got me in for nowt! Didnt see much of him in the club cos it was heaving, but what a legend! Only other famous "link" i've got is that i was best mates with Thandie Newtons brother at secondary school. Used to see her round his house all the time, never thought she'd go on to be a famous actress.
