Met Halestorm at Christmas (Female fronted rock band for those that don't know). Got photo with them and autographs. Real nice people.

Well surely if we're counting people that we have seen in the flesh then it's a toss up between several footballers (Beckham, Ronaldo, Linekar, etc) or maybe like me some pop/rock stars. Could also count the many people who came to the openning of the Warner Village (Vue) cinema many years back, which was opened by Val Kilmer.

But if you mean met as in talked to then either Robert Lindsey or Sophie Grigson... so that will be Robert Lindsey then.

met david beckham at a spice girls concert at sheffield don valley around 98.. had quick chat and got him to sign daughters programme but then the crowds flocked to him so he went backstage..

Bill Adderley - Founder of Dunelm Mill - From working at a market stall in town to having now a personal wealth of over £600m, he is certainly famous in this respect. Known him all my life.

Rowland Rivron, Nancy Lam, Paul Burrell, Noel Sullivan and some other bird.

It was in Crete, they were filming a programme about being a holiday rep and we were passing by the hotel they were filming at and they asked my dad if he could play football cause they were missing somebody, he said no. :giggle:

(and yes I had to google their names theyre THAT famous.)

Ok... Aside from the likes of Heskey, Lennon, Muzzy, Guppy etc in bars around 96-99..

Ellen McArthur once gave me an award.

Louise Redknapp performed at a work do, had a good chat afterwards.

Des Lynam compered a work do and had a good chat about City.

Had a dance with Julia Bradbury when she was at a work do. Also met Tony Hadley that night. GOLD.

Apart from football players I'm struggling to think of anyone genuinely that famous.

Met everyone from one of my favourite bands, their called Anberlin, but over here they aren't well known.

Really am struggling beyond that :unsure:

i have met Seb Coe, Steve Elliott, Jack Buckner and a few other quite well known athletes (as my dad was an international athletics coach a few years ago)

My Grandma beats me hands down at this, she has a picture of herself and Muhammed Ali outside their hotel in Hawaii around 1977. Apparently a very nice chap he is too.

Bumped into (quite litterally) Justin Lee Collins in blackpool opera house. He had camera team with him and everything. Spotted him being pestered by almost everyone walking through the middle of Newquay.
