Ozwin Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 Almost made this topic myself. It's good for those who want to stay in the warm and we've done alright on telly this season.

davieG Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 OS Leicester City's clash against Roy Keane's Ipswich Town will be featured live on Sky Sports 1 and HD 1.Sky Sports were originally scheduled to show the Premier League clash between West Ham and Wolves. Unfortunately, this game has fell victim to the weather conditions. The game will still kick off at 3.00pm as originally scheduled. For updates on tomorrow's game, please check LCFC.COM. As an aside why do they need to call it Roy Keene's Ipswich Town? Are we supposed to be impressed and want to go just because he's the manager - I know stop fooking moaning, well I can't because this celebritising everything pisses me off.

Apparantly the Sheff Utd game build up was all about United I expect tomorrow's build up will be the same, all about Roy Keane and Ipswich.
AmericanScott Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 Couldn't they find a better picture? Looks like one of those stroke adverts on tv Face...

Well I expect the build up to be about the opposition, it's just the use of Keene's Ipswich, if it was some lesser known manager/footballer they wouldn't get mention. Oh well I'll let it goes, it shouldn't be an issue.
Koke Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 We must be second to only Newcastle in the amount of times shown on TV. We getting quite a lot of coverage this year - more than the usual.

To be fair it's not just done here. A lot of previews are done like that...i.e. naming the manager of the squad before saying the team name.

To be fair I think last time we were in the championship we got shown quite a bit. Mandy mates with Murdoch ?

Ford Super Sunday Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 Fox92 will be delighted about this, he won't have to go now!
Joe. Posted 9 January 2010 Posted 9 January 2010 Only when it's someone like Keene other's don't get their name prefixed to the team. It's always been like that with Keane ever since he took over. The media love the hype surrounding him...
