Fosse Boy Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Another one too young to have seen him in City colours, but he was obviously a legend at Filbo. RIP.
Lillehamring Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 one of the unmistakable characters from my early days at filbert street... a sad loss.
J.Lisemore Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Another one too young to have seen him in City colours, but he was obviously a legend at Filbo.RIP. This. RIP Bobby.
Rocket-Ron Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 He used to date one of my teachers at school back in the day, So used to see a bit of him around. Nice bloke what i remember.
Fox in a Box Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Gutted is the word. One of my all time favorite players.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Shocked! The first City player that I have seen play to have died. Legend is a little strong, but certainly a memorable player.
Guest Bilo Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Too young to have seen him play myself but saddened whenever a player remembered in such great affection passes. RIP
General Smuts Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Remember him fondly from VHS videos of past seasons that me and my dad used to watch. He used to have an intense celebration that i would try to copy when i was younger, where he'd throw his fist up and snarl while someone grabbed him from behind and hugged his throat. Epic tache, heroic mullet. RIP.
Karljohn Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 I saw Bobby play a few times for City, naturally the thing that stood out was the hairstyle but the guy wasnt short on talent. Bobby is what football lacks these days, a bit of character. RIP
Rich Fox Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Will always gave great memories of Bobby he never went unnoticed in a game and was a strong determined player and also very talented, thanks for the memories Bobby at peace now.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 A wonderful little player, who always gave 100%, R.I.P. Bobby.
Arkie Bennett Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Fine player. Brings back memories of my late father taking me to Filbert Street in my youth. RIP Bobby.
Webbo Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Hardly a surprise but still terribly sad news. Maybe not a legend but a cult hero and a great character.
Pegosteve Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Full of grit and determination, excellent penalty taker. Quality professional. RIP Bobby thanks for the memories.
