Oakley-7.5 A King-8 extra half point for his goal. Wellens-7.5 Gallagher-8 goal an an assist. Waghorn-8 worked his plums off without really looking like scoring Dyer-8 as above. Guest ttfn Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Weale 7 - Struggled with one or two crosses, one cracking save near the end. Morrison 7 - Steady as ever. Brown 7 - Forest fans were right. HOOOOOOOOF. Still, excellent in the tackle as always. Hobbs 8 - Excellent in the air, one or two great challenges but a couple of edgy moments when Blackstock/Earnshaw skipped past him Berner 8 - I love this guy. Wellens 7 - Was the only one of the midfield 3 to show some bite. King 7 - Nice run for the goal, fairly quiet but made a couple of decent interceptions. Oakley 6 - Weak in the tackle and too many misplaced passes but showed glimpses of quality. Gallagher 8 - Even in a poor first hour, he was our most regular threat. You will not see a better free kick this season. Waghorn 7 - Feel so sorry for him, got totally dominated by 2 oafish centre backs but worked hard for the team and indirectly contributed to the win. Dyer 7 - In and out of it, but a threat when running with the ball at his feet. Forest fans 8 - Really noisy (until they went behind), good humoured banter. Radolsaw Majewski - What a massive steaming cunny this guy is. Dived and whinged his way through the game, a total disgrace. Rest of the Forest team - Massive turds.

dandannieldanok Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Weale 7 (One dodgy moment but generally fine, super save at the end) Morrison 8 (Typical Morro, solid) Brown 9 (Colossal, when he's playing well he can be superb) Hobbs 9 (Calm, assured, rock solid, nearly ready for the premiership) Berner 9 (Very good in defence, always looked to support attacks, goal and an assist) Oakley 6 (Ok......he was actually dire in possession...but the effort levels never dropped, never hid away from the battle) Wellens 7.5 (Good presence, some sharp passing and tackling) King 7 (Steady and composed, nice finish for the goal) Gallagher 8 (Battled hard throughout, superb freekick) Dyer 7 (Unlucky on a few occasions when he ran out of space, generally a decent positive performance) Waghorn 8 (Fed scraps but ran all day, fantastic work-rate)

Paulmot Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Great second half despite some weird decisions by the ref at times Weale 8 Needs to improve distribution Morrison 8 Growing in confidence and a threat in the box Brown 8.5 defending is resolute, distribution see Weale Hobbs 8.5 Shame about the yellow card awesome tackle in the first half Berner 8.5 good finish sometimes left exposed by Dyer, Solid!! Wellens 9 top performance King 8 Solid good cleaning up and the touch to score showed his intent to get forward when he could Oakley 7.5 gave the ball away a lot but some nice interplay Gallagher 8.5 swapped sides and did get back when needed, Class freekick Waghorn 8 worked hard and tackled back Dyer 7.5 came inside to often but played well in patches Crowd 10 Sang ok first half really upped it in the second half pushed Wellens for the MOM but came up just short Great to see the Walkers rocking

Legend_in_blue Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Weale - 8 - Rarely troubled and still came up with a decent one handed super save in the second half. Morrison - 8 - Solid. Hobbs - 9 - Legend. "That tackle" in the first half was superb. Brown - 9 - Man-beast at his best physically today. Distribution was off but he more that makes up for that in other key areas. Namely defending the ball for all its worth. Berner - 9 - Cool head on experienced shoulders. Clever player. Oakley - 7 - Got stuck in although faded in and out. King - 8 - Steady influence. Wellens - 7 - Worried me with the early booking but didn't lose his head. Covered a lot of ground. Industrious. Dyer - 7 - Pace troubled at times. Faded in and out. Gallagher - 9 - Superb game. You will not see a better freekick all season. Technically brilliant. Waghorn - 8 - Gave it 100% all game long. Never gave up on the ball and went in for everything. Subs - N/a. NP - 9 - We're no longer predictable in terms of our selection and performance on the field. We're becoming dangerous from many different situations on the ball and our home form is now key to our success. NP is doing a fantastic job. We're in a perfect league position and we're hitting form at just the right time. Wembley in May. We can do this.

Morrison - 7.5 - Looked very dangerous from set-pieces and coped with Anderson? well in the first half. Hobbs - 10 - That lad was world class. Nothing else to say. He did everything amazingly. Brown - 8.5 - I thought he had one of his better games today, just got to work on his passing abit more. Berner - 9 - Did well attacking from fullback and didnt do to much wrong, deserved his goal. Oakley - 8.5 - Really got stuck in today, thought he was gunna get sent off to be honest, one of his best games. Wellens - 6 - Thought he was our worst player, for the fee we payed for him he still hasnt repayed us yet IMO. King - 8.5/9 - Did really well in the centre of the park, keeping Majewski under control. Dyer - 7.5 - I've seen him play better. But IMO he's the only one that can get the ball and go forward with it. Gallagher - 9 - His free-kick was magic. His work rate was amazing, keep it up Gally Waggy - 8.5 - I've never actually seen such a big&experienced defender not coping with a lad like Waggy, he was amazing.

That run in the first half taking on 4 forest players in total was majestic. Just n eeded to look up to spot Gally. Havent seen that kind of brute in a long time in a LCFC shirt.

You don't get much for 1.2 mill these days. He's never gonna score alot of goals, never has. It's his strength, skill, eye for a killer pass and quick thinking that sets him aside.
