maddog Posted 21 March 2010 Posted 21 March 2010 Doing this early because not around this week. Reading are on absolute fooking fire. Unbeaten in 5 League games and 8 wins from their previous 10. They've flown away from the relegation zone under Brian McDermott and were even 2-0 up at half time against Villa in the Fa Cup before losing it in the 2nd half. Sigurdsson, Long and Church have bagged most of their goals recently. We're sitting pretty 8 points clear of Sheffield United with a game in hand, a win here would edge us closer to guaranteeing that playoff place with a few games to spare possibly. It would be very nice for us to bounce back straight away, and with a game Wednesday there isn't much time for us to wait. Solano has been doing a great job although i can see Brown coming in for him as he may be fatigued, i'm guessing Berner got injured in the warm up hopefully he will be back in, some aren't fans of Kermo but he has hardly started any games. Waghorn may be tired also perhaps he should be rested for Yann. A win here and will definitely get further ahead of some or all of our rivals. Doncaster play Newcastle, Cardiff in 6th play Sheffield United in 7th, and Swansea travel to Blackpool so it's another excellent opportunity for us. I think it will be a 2-1 win, Long for them, Kermo and Morrison for us
Salieri Posted 21 March 2010 Posted 21 March 2010 Tough game but the second half debacle vs Cov will serve as a wake up call. We'll scrape it 1-0. Waggy. (Oh and maddog? I see your 'Andy King invisible man' sig has mysteriously disappeared after the lad bagged a brace today!)
dimmerchant Posted 21 March 2010 Posted 21 March 2010 Only us and Forest out of the top 10 aren't playing somebody else in the top 10 over the course of Tuesday and Wednesday. Blackpool v Swansea Doncaster v Newcastle Cardiff v Sheff Utd West Brom v Coventry 3 points from this one would be huge.
sdb Posted 21 March 2010 Posted 21 March 2010 We're going into a mental fixture pile up. I really fear for us if/when we next lose. Please don't be this game!!! I know we've totally over achieved this year but not getting in the play offs would kill me now. It'll be a tight game, make the right subs and we could nick it. I'd like to see 2 out and out wingers go at their full backs and maybe Kermo (useless today i know) go at their big centre backs alongside Waggy. We're gonna have to start rotating a little to avoid burn out.
StanSP Posted 21 March 2010 Posted 21 March 2010 Think N'Guessan will start this match, probably for Gallagher/Dyer. As said, Brown will return for Solano and Morrison heading back out to RB. 3-2 win I think.
dandannieldanok Posted 21 March 2010 Posted 21 March 2010 Draw, and that would be a decent result in my opinion. These are in such good form.
lou Posted 22 March 2010 Posted 22 March 2010 Im scared of Reading Gonna be forced to get down the pub first for some dutch courage
samjohnson Posted 22 March 2010 Posted 22 March 2010 It'll be tight... but i think we will win 2-1... late winner for us off the head of Andy King
Guest Bilo Posted 22 March 2010 Posted 22 March 2010 They're in excellent form and will come here brimming with confidence, of that there is no doubt. They have benefited from playing some mediocre opposition of late though, and in the last four games they've played against teams in and around the play-offs they've picked up 4 points from 12. (This obviously excepts their FA Cup win against West Brom) They're beatable if we play to our strengths and get yesterday's second half out of our system as soon as possible. 2-1 with Gallagher and Waghorn scoring for us, Sigurdsson for them.
Corky Posted 22 March 2010 Posted 22 March 2010 They've been on an exceptional run of form, but we normally do well against sides who are on the up. Will be very tough, but I think we'll get a 2-1 win.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 22 March 2010 Posted 22 March 2010 Bad feeling about this. They are on form and are playing well at the moment, and after throwing away the lead to Cov, we might still be on a downer. 1-2 Oakley for us to equalise but they grab a late winner.
Sir Fynwy Posted 22 March 2010 Posted 22 March 2010 Im scared of Reading Gonna be forced to get down the pub first for some dutch courage I've had to book a half day holiday so that I can get to the pub early enough!
RowlattsFox Posted 22 March 2010 Posted 22 March 2010 I don't think it will be pretty but I think we'll scrape it 1-0, N'Guessan to score.
Edmund Posted 24 March 2010 Posted 24 March 2010 http://www.eatsleepsport.com/reading/skipper-to-miss-foxes-clash-1041743.html? Ivar Ingimarsson is out, good news for us.
samlcfc Posted 24 March 2010 Posted 24 March 2010 Should be a hard game but no reason why we shouldnt win if we play well enough, seen us play brilliantly against enough teams on good runs to know we can win. Wasn't at the game on sunday because of work but if they learn a olesson from whatever happened it may even help us.
Manderic's pants Posted 24 March 2010 Posted 24 March 2010 Bruno's out: For the first time since January, Leicester had to make do without Bruno Berner who missed the game against Coventry after injuring his calf in the warm-up. Pearson admitted, he is likely to miss out again against the Royals, but has faith in his understudy, Ryan McGivern: "Bruno won't be available for this game and probably not for the next couple. But I thought that Ryan did really well when he came in on Sunday." http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2003710,00.html DOOMED!
lildave3 Posted 24 March 2010 Posted 24 March 2010 Hopefully a really dull game with little action seeing as i'm missing it.
MC Prussian Posted 24 March 2010 Posted 24 March 2010 Hopefully a healthy home win, and I can't be there. 3-1 to the Foxes. Gallagher, Waghorn and Dyer the scorers.
Bakey Posted 24 March 2010 Posted 24 March 2010 Hopefully a really dull game with little action seeing as i'm missing it. Phfft selfish as usual 3 - 0 win Kermorgant hatrick.
StanSP Posted 24 March 2010 Posted 24 March 2010 Berner's out. No worries. Another chance for prove you haters wrong. I really do hope he has a good game tonight.
Lillehamring Posted 24 March 2010 Posted 24 March 2010 for the record - if we win this game we will be mathematically safe
