mmarkie Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 I'd start Vaughan up front with Howard and if Dyer is not fit then i'd start N'Guessan out on the left wing. I'd go for- Weale Solano Morrison Hobbs© Berner Spearing King Wellens N'Guessan/Dyer Howard Vaughan Your thoughts?
CupidStunt Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 i'd bring back solano also there aint no way that numpty oakley is going to get dropped though
Bert Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Weale Morrison Berner Brown Hobbs N'Guessan Dyer (Gallagher if not fit) King Wellens Howard Vaughan. Waghorn needs a rest and I think Vaughan needs a start. Howard played his heart out and yesterday and just needed a little bit more luck. QPR have a big defence, so we need something to counter that. Oakley just hasn't produced anything so should be on the bench. Can't see it really though.
shiv Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 i'd bring back solano also there aint no way that numpty oakley is going to get dropped though He was dropped against Cardiff!
CupidStunt Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 He was dropped against Cardiff! he wont get dropped against qpr
JimmyJam Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Berner © King Wellens Spearing Waghorn Vaughn Dyer Subs Gallagher Oakley N Guessen Logan Solano Adams Howard Three pace men running at QPR, with a solid midfield behind bring back Brown to organize the back four let Morrison go back to right back where i feel he has played his best football this season.
Salieri Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 I would stick with the same formation that saw us go through the whole of February unbeaten. I think a mixture of fatigue and bad luck has played a part in recent results, more so than playing particularly badly. I would go for : Weale Berner Hobbs Brown Morrison (or Morrison in the centre with Nobby at right back) Wellens King Spearing Dyer Waghorn Gallagher
Two_Pints_of_Lager Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 I'd go for Weale Solano Morrison Hobbs Berner Adams Spearing Wellans Dyer Waghorn Vaughan Subs Logan Brown King Gallagher Howard N'Guessan Oakley Lets go for them lets attack less of the negative passing sidways and backwards
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Weale Morrison Brown Hobbs Berner N'Guessan King Wellens Dyer Howard Waghorn
bigneville Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 For me there doesnt need to be any drastic changes. We've just come off the back of two very tough away games in 4 days. We'd have probably lost these at any point of the season. However, two players need to be dropped after Friday. Neilson & Oakley Neilson - looks completely out of depth, I would rather Brown came back in at centre back and Morrison went to right back and thats only if Solano isn't fit. Oakley - Completely wasted as the third midfielder, looks nervous every time he gets the ball, and his touch and vision seem to have gone missing at the moment. So on that basis Weale Solano Morrison Hobbs Berner Spearing King Wellens Dyer - if not fit than N'Guessan Waghorn Gallacher We need to keep showing our faith in Waghorn, he was played out of position on Friday, need to get him back up top, as the midfield had no out ball at times with Howard there.
calum_lcfc Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Weale Solano Hobbs Morrison Berner N'Gussen Wellens King Dyer Howard Vaughan/Waggy
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 HOPEFULLY WILL BE:- Weale Solano Morrison Hobbs Berner Adams Spearing Wellens Dyer Howard Vaughan BUT WILL BE:- Weale Neilson Morrison Hobbs Berner Oakley King Wellens Dyer Howard Waghorn IMO Vaughan and Spearing definitely need to start !!
Mee Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Weale Solano Morrison Hobbs Berner Spearing King Wellens Dyer Waghorn Howard

RowlattsFox Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Part of me thinks we should go back to the same side that was doing so well in Feb, but I'd like to see this. Weale Morrison Brown Hobbs Berner Gallagher King Wellens Dyer/N'Guessan Vaughan Howard
Guest Mee-9 Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Berner Gallagher King Wellens Dyer Vaughan Waghorn Back to basics 4-4-2 that will see us play decent football.
lcfc_forever Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 At home, I still think we should stick with 4-3-3. While this midfield lacks a little pace, they're all good on the ball and someone of Solano's quality and experience in the middle of the park will help steady the nerves: Weale Morrison Brown Hobbs Berner Solano (or Spearing if Solano is unfit) King Wellens Gallagher Waghorn Dyer (or Vaughan if Dyer is unfit) Bench: Spearing Vaughan Oakley Howard N'Guessan Neilson Logan
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 As long as we play a back 4 of Berner, Hobbs, Brown and Morrison I'm not bothered...
Jodranadinho Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 -------------------Weale------------------- Solano Hobbs © Morrison Berner ------Spearing---King----Wellens---- -------------------Kermogant------------- ------------Vaughan---Waghorn-------- Im liking the look of this. especially after that video of kermogant last night
Jimmy Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Weale Solano Morrison Hobbs© BernerAdams King Spearing DyerGallagher Vaughan With N'Guessan and Waghorn as our 1st changes so long as Matt Oakley is in our team we won't progress. Adams sounded like he played well yesterday from the little I heard on Radio, King is the pick of our midfielders and Wellens hasn't been great so the fresh legs and energy of Spearing is as better option for me. If Dyer plays as an out and out winger he has the beating of most full backs, Vaughan is slightly more composed then Waghorn, who is looking very tired atm anyway. Gallagher is just our best attacking player.
the buckwheat Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Yann just behind two young players technically very fast, can finally be an effective solution. :fox:
Fox You Forest Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Weale Solano Morrison Hobbs Berner Spearing King Wellens Dyer Vaughan Gallagher Waggy really looks like he needs a rest, Brown in if Solano isn't fit.
MC Prussian Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Weale Berner Hobbs Morrison Solano Dyer King Wellens N'Guessan Waghorn Gallagher Subs: Logan, Brown, Adams, Spearing, Kermorgant, Howard, Vaughan
Wilson_6 Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 I'd start Vaughan up front with Howard and if Dyer is not fit then i'd start N'Guessan out on the left wing. I'd go for- Weale Solano Morrison Hobbs© Berner Spearing King Wellens N'Guessan/Dyer Howard Vaughan Your thoughts? yeah i agree totally mate, i think vaughn should be givien a chance so should n'guessan and although howard didnt score against westbrom he had a bit of grit about him and looked liked scoring... and for gallagher not good enough for me ponces about with the ball looses it alot and never seems to break a sweat
kyleolly Posted 4 April 2010 Posted 4 April 2010 Weale Solano Morrisson Brown Hobbs Berner King Wellens Spearing Waghorn Vaughan Subs Logan, Howard, Gallagher, Adams, Powell, Dyer, Neilson
