ousefox Posted 14 April 2010 Posted 14 April 2010 Young Player Of The Season: Michael Morrison Player Of The Season: Jack Hobbs Goal Of The Season: Waghorn vs QPR
jonw88 Posted 14 April 2010 Author Posted 14 April 2010 OS screwed up so here's the new link to the player of the season vote: http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2023537,00.html The vote is now on survey monkey, don't think you can vote multiple times any more! Also seems like you can watch all the goals that are nominated on Foxes Player which is handy.
lcfcadam Posted 15 April 2010 Posted 15 April 2010 Will decide at the end of the season. Except the awards dinner is April 27th... For me: Young Player: Michael Morrison Player: Jack Hobbs Goal: Waghorn's 2nd against QPR
Sambo Posted 15 April 2010 Posted 15 April 2010 Young Player = King - was good last season but has come through as one of the top performers this year, holds his nerve, creates and has scored some crucial goals! Player of season = Hobbs - been a rock at the back, one of our best buys in years, Weale has been great in goal but he's had a solid back 4 all season too so my shout goes to Hobbs, just brilliant! and would be first on every team sheet if we get to the prem imo.
Jonezy Posted 16 April 2010 Posted 16 April 2010 Spoiled for choices really, but I went for: Young Player: Andy King - Keeps it simple and gets vital goals. Hobbs, Morrison and Waghorn could easily have been chosen here as well. Player of the Season: Chris Weale - The amount of certain goals he has saved this season is unbelievable. Berner, King, Hobbs could also easily have been chosen here. Goal of the Season: Paul Gallagher's 3rd vs. S****horpe - That backwards header was something special. With a spine of Weale, Hobbs, Morrison, King and Fryatt the future looks really bright for once.
Jimbo Posted 16 April 2010 Posted 16 April 2010 I can't believe people would choose to vote for any other goal but Gallaghers 3rd against S****horpe! The goal was pure class
sw_fox Posted 16 April 2010 Posted 16 April 2010 I can't believe people would choose to vote for any other goal but Gallaghers 3rd against S****horpe! The goal was pure class Seconded
FoxyPV Posted 16 April 2010 Posted 16 April 2010 Berner for player of the year - was tempted by Hobbs and Weale but just lover Bruno I can't remember who I picked for YP but I think it was Morrison. Waghorn's second against QPR. (Gallagher's 2nd against Scunnie was good but i though this was pure class)
Joe. Posted 16 April 2010 Posted 16 April 2010 Player of the year - Jack Hobbs Young player of the year - Michael Morrison Goal of the season - Waghorn vs Coventry Very difficult to decide with so many candidates to choose from. Weale or Berner could easily have got the player of the year too, and Waghorn was very close to the young award for me. But I've been so impressed with Morrison, he's had an incredibly consistent year.
00rawat Posted 16 April 2010 Posted 16 April 2010 YP - Jack Hobbs POS - Chris Weale Waghorn v Coventry

MikeyT Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 YP - Waghorn POS - Hobbs GOAL - Waggy against S****horpe (away)
Stevosevic Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Anybody know someone who is there tonight who can tell us who won?
jimmer Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 YP - Waghorn POS - Hobbs GOAL - Waggy against S****horpe (away) Waggy's goal against the Cov was pretty spectacular
Koke Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Young Player of the Year - Waghorn Player of the year - King Goal of the season - Gallagher's 2nd vs. Palace
Mikey Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Young Player - Waghorn - Just for the amount of vital goals he's contributed. Could of been any of him, Hobbs, Morro or King imo. Player of the year - Jack Hobbs - Just looked like the complete defender this season. Would have been Bruno, but he's been injured a few times this season, whereas Hobbs has been consistently in the side. Was hard to choose between Hobbs, Bruno and Weale. Goal - Waghorn v QPR
Stevosevic Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Anyone know someone that is there tonight who could find out what awards have been won so far?

StanSP Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Hobbs King Gallagher vs Forest (only cos I was there to see it). I think if I was there for his backward header against Scunny, probably would have voted for that. Very tough to choose between King and Berner for Player of the Season though. http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2037129,00.html Player of the Year: Jack Hobbs Players' Player of the Year: Jack Hobbs and Andy King (shared) Young Player of the Year: Martyn Waghorn Goal of the Season: Paul Gallagher (the free-kick in the 3-0 win against Forest) Academy Player of the Year: Elliott Chamberlain I got Hobbs and Gally right .
