Ozwin Posted 18 April 2010 Posted 18 April 2010 I don't know if I'm over celebrating recently cos we're playoff bound or what but I can't remember hearing it for a while now. And we've seen 8 goals in the past 2 games. If they've stopped then that's great news.
Ozwin Posted 18 April 2010 Author Posted 18 April 2010 Everytime I hear it I die a little inside. I don't remember feeling that way for a while. Must just be me then.

samjohnson Posted 18 April 2010 Posted 18 April 2010 Bring on Carnival de Paris! Or preferably... let us sing and dance without music!
Tony Pine Posted 18 April 2010 Posted 18 April 2010 i'd prefer if they put random farm animal noises over the tannoy. mix it up a bit.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 18 April 2010 Posted 18 April 2010 i'd prefer if they put random farm animal noises over the tannoy. mix it up a bit. 8 Goals in the last 2 games ? Have you had cotton wool in ya ears ?!!! I even hear it from my house.
carterfox90 Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 yep still playing it & sounding better & better each time we score
Fosse Boy Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 Bring on Carnival de Paris! Or preferably... let us sing and dance without music! Not a big fan of generic songs such as Carneval de Paris, but I must admit I enjoyed going nuts to it in L1 on Saturday. It's about the best thing Jobber's ever done with that drum. Would be fucking awful if they started playing it over the tannoy though.
Spiritwalker Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 Agree Chelsea Dagger has nothing to do with city at least Fire is a song by a great Leicester band If we are doing Leicester bands what about a bit of Shawaddywaddy?
jonthefox Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 If we are doing Leicester bands what about a bit of Shawaddywaddy? bollocks to it. get a bit of englebert on there.
PAULCFC Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 bollocks to it. get a bit of englebert on there. Nah,Diesel Park West! But seriously i'd be happier without the music as funily enough i think we do make some noise when we score, pity it has to be drowned out.But if it does then a local band to do it is the best we can hope for.On a side note for the last few games Underdog has been played not so loud at the start of the game, for me this is a better song than on fire.......but i suppose if i wanted to listen to music i'd go to a disco!
PAULCFC Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 It's got to be lost, it's small time as fuck. So if we have to have music, what do you propose?
Dan Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 So if we have to have music, what do you propose? Nothing, any club that needs music to celebrate a goal is small time.
DeclanMC Posted 19 April 2010 Posted 19 April 2010 to be honest, I was so caught up in celebrating every 4 on saturday, I didn't even notice it myself
MikeyT Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 bollocks to it. get a bit of englebert on there. What about Mark Morrison?
Babylon Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 to be honest, I was so caught up in celebrating every 4 on saturday, I didn't even notice it myself Same here.... I just get on with enjoying the goals now, rather than getting pissed off about people monkey dancing like they did to dagger.
Corky Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 I hardly notice the goal music any more, which is a good thing.
lou Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 Everytime I hear it I die a little inside. I don't remember feeling that way for a while. Must just be me then. Well if you havent heard it the last 8 times then its not really an issue? NP and the players want it so its no skin off my nose. Anythings better than Chelsea Dagger

Anythings better than Chelsea Dagger I find it unlikely. Probably asked in a throwaway manner, they probably think the fans want it and I bet most managers would just say yes rather than thinking about it too much.
Tony Pine Posted 20 April 2010 Posted 20 April 2010 I hardly notice the goal music any more, which is a good thing. ditto, semi-noticed it on the first goal then didn't after that
