Getting him off the wage bill would help clear up some money for new signings but why should we hurry that along at the expense of a transfer fee. Blackpool are just being irritating little sods and refusing to meet our valuation - that's not to say they won't pay up if we drop the price abit - but if they don't want to there will be other clubs out there that saw his performances for blackpool at the end of the season and will be willing to pay the value we want for him e.g. Middlesboro'

Competition for places in midfield would be great. James Constable, from Oxford, has a great goal scoring record, could be a gamble, yet to prove himself at a higher level, but would cost peanuts.
