Looking at it, those premier league clubs are limited by their capacity in their stadium. Comparing the max crowds doesn't look as good as it first seems when you realise we have a bigger ground capacity than places like wigan or wolves.

Being one of the few Darlington fans must have been a depressing experience this season. Relegation from the Football League and being part of an average attendance of 2,028 in a stadium built for 25,000.

Good attendances for us though, our support is pretty good in terms of numbers.

Good support as usual, I think Derby were supposed to have a rather generous scheme with their tickets weren't they? Still good support though. Sheffield Wednesday support is good, especially for a team that went down, but I guess many people expect that from them now..

For a team in the Premier league, the numbers for Wigan are pretty poor. Also I thought that Fulham could only get approximately 20k. Surprised to see a maximum attendance of 25!

I think all you can say is that after the first two seasons at the Walkers where we got around 30000 average gates in a promotion and a prem season, we've "lost" about 5-6k. Nice to see it going up, though I suspect home games against Hull, Burnley and Portsmouth aren't going to bump the numbers - dirty leeds should be a 30k crowd I hope.

Didn't Norwich sell their season tickets really cheap though, I remember hearing something about that.

I'd expect that to go up next season, recession's bottomed out (hopefully!), might be the odd exciting signing, and we've had a great season. But yeah was surprised to see Norwich doing better than us, and Derby with so many too.

Only if you look at the total (which is a bit misleading because we play 8 more games than the Prem clubs). We're 21st if you're looking at average crowd per game.

Yeah they sold season tickets to U-18's for £50. And there were other bargains for adults.

People forget the population of Leeds is over two times that of Leicester (not including surrounding areas for both cities.) Taking that into consideration we've actually got great support in comparison. :thumbup:

Oh right fair enough. I just remember the season when we were in league 1 and all the Leeds fans joining the board were boasting that their average attendance was slightly higher than ours, but they were completely oblivious to the fact that Leicester is a far smaller city and in fact their figures were poor when taking that into consideration.

Nobody takes that into consideration when they bash the Wigans and Blackburns of this world.

True, and they also have to contend with the fact that the majority of their catchment area supports Man United.

Good attendances but I think it should have been a bit more, but then you cant force someone to go and watch us.

Better than Cov and Forest thats the main thing! And Derby gave half their seats away.
