RAFRUDY Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 chopper (sorry Chopra) is an idiot for slagging off leicester fans....feels GREAT watching him bawl like a baby!! Also they can stick their BLOOOOBIRDS up their arses!
maddog Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Think people will be disappointed if they think we'll get more than £500k for Campbell. He's got one year left on his contract and the whole world and his wife know we're desperate to shift him. I don't know, before it was just Blackpool who were likely to buy him, now he's impressed with that hat trick and other goals other Championship clubs may bid for him and push the price up. Campbells got himself noticed and in the spotlight now. I have a weird feeling Burnley might sign him for some reason.
Ozwin Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 What did Chopra say about our fans? I hated him anyway, but you know, it's more ammunition.
Jay Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 I can't believe people are slating DJ and then expecting upwards of a million for him! Now Cardiff have gone up, they might not even want him best hope we have is they take over his contract and we just cover any bonuses he is entitled to and let him go on a free
tewkesbury-fox Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Congrats to Blackpool, great achievement..hopefully DJ will be off the books next season so not a bad outcome for us

Blinkers.

Koke Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Fuck Blackpool. I can't wish Holloway and DJ well. ANd a certain proportion of their fans are small time cunts with a massive inferiority complex. Shame Cardiff lost.
Finnegan Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Fuck Blackpool. I can't wish Holloway and DJ well. ANd a certain proportion of their fans are small time cunts with a massive inferiority complex. Shame Cardiff lost. This was basically my reaction until I realized that this should mean they'll almost certainly want to buy DJ Campbell and will almost certainly be able to pay a reasonable fee for him. With nothing but my Leicester hat on, it's not an awful outcome.
Guest ttfn Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 I don't know what to think of this. Blackpool were so much worse than the other 3 sides for the whole season and got promoted, Cardiff are a team full of total dickheads (Kennedy aside). The Campbell transfer will be interesting. Obviously we know they've got money and they know we want rid. A classic 'undisclosed' transfer, probably £1 million plus another mill if they stay up. We'd be lucky to get that.
L.C.F.C. Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Please guys, be realistic!!!! 1. DJ didn't do anything for us. 2. His wages are crippling for leicester, considering he will never play again for us. 3. Blackpool are the only team that have shown any interest in him at all, even Derby weren't overly impressed. If we ask too much, and Blackpool back out, we are stuck for another season, paying stupid wages, for someone who won't play, and who can leave at the end of it on a free!!!!!!! If Blackpool offer 750k or above, snap their hand off, take the money, and the decrease in the wage bill, and smile very widely. an extra 750k towards a Waghorn (or similar) and an extra 20k a week (reportedly) available to pay his wages should have every city fan smiling!
Jordan Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 The Campbell transfer will be interesting. Obviously we know they've got money and they know we want rid. A classic 'undisclosed' transfer, probably £1 million plus another mill if they stay up. We'd be lucky to get that. We'll have to hope at least one other club expresses genuine interest for the price to go up that high. Imagine that, a bidding war for DJ Campbell...
Edmund Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Fairplay to Blackpool and Holloway. I wonder what impact this will have on Cardiff financially?
Guest Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 whoops... What and idiot I am!! Haha, thought maybe you'd been watching a different game for a minute
Jay Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Haha, thought maybe you'd been watching a different game for a minute nope just an idiot!.. nothing more nothing less!!

Hitesh Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Congrats to Blackpool and a big Nelson Muntz "Haha" to Chopra and Cardiff.
CosbehFox Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 I have a weird feeling Burnley might sign him for some reason. I have literally 'd at that....why Burnley?
NorthernFox Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Enjoyed the game today, although it did take copius amounts of various alcohol to numb the pain of not being there. Pleased for Holloway that he finally knows how to play attractive attacking football. Three years too fooking late mind....
gazzer Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 I'm disappointed we gave Holloway the honour of running our club and he couldn't even keep us in the Championship.. then he takes shit like Blackpool to the Premier League. He should have a word with himself.
Leicfox Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 I went yestarday, it was a brilliant day out even if we never made it.. I'd already booked on our works bus (£5 from blackpool) in the hope we would of though. Got some great videos, and photos, and im glad i went.
jonthefox Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 well done blackpool. I still think they will take derbys unwanted record of them next season mind you.
