purpleronnie Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 After your success in the 2020 wc please can you place a bet on the US winning I've actually thought about it. I've just won a stupid amount on Argentina so I might put a 50 on the USA just for ha' ha's. Another example of the stupid way I think, every game so far the home team hasn't lost (the way they put the teams in alphabetical order), I usually bet on the law of averages, which makes me think the USA might win.
Matt Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 Not been overly excited for this game until the last few hours, I've been excited for football and the World Cup in the lead up but not necesserily about then England game but the time has come and the excitement is building. C'mon England lets beat these Yanks.
marbelladave Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 Finally cracked - just hit the drinks fridge!......
Chairman of the Bored Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 I hope we put in a good shift, look solid and appear authoratative. I'll take 1-0 as a starter, Gerrard. Important we get no injuries.
lavrentis Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 Come on England. Getting excited for this now!! USA fans on the news "USA is gonna dominate"
Edmund Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 Come on England. Getting excited for this now!! USA fans on the news "USA is gonna dominate" that was hilarious. "2 to 1, we will beat England 2 to 1"
purpleronnie Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 that was hilarious. "2 to 1, we will beat England 2 to 1" Yep hilarious, different nations having different ways of speaking. Crazy.
Matt Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 England's expected XI for the match versus USA features James Milner ahead of Joe Cole.Robert Green also gets the nod ahead of Joe Hart and David James to start in goal for the Three Lions. Milner seemed a doubt for the starting line up after suffering from a stomach bug for much of the week. However, it seems Fabio Capello is set to start the wide-man in England's opening World Cup game. At the back, Ledley King partners John Terry in the heart of defence, while Emile Heskey seems set to partner Wayne Rooney up front. The England line-up to play USA: Green Johnson, Terry, King, A Cole Lennon, Lampard, Gerrard, Milner Heskey, Rooney

Ozwin Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 Why aren't I nervous? I'm usually a wreck before WC games.

Matt Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 Why aren't I nervous? I'm usually a wreck before WC games. Wait till the knockouts or if we lose today become nervous.
