AmericanScott Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 Luckily, my Skytv is being installed as we speak.
Matt Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 Luckily, my Skytv is being installed as we speak. Don't admit it, certain people will accuse you of selling your soul. How very dare you!

Alexikokopops Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 I have Sky and I can count on one hand the number of times I've watched SSN since I've owned it. It's awful if you actually want to find out what's been happening in the sporting world. You turn it on and there's half an hour of a man in the rain standing outside someone's training ground speculating on an off hand comment some random big four player has said as he's left the training ground.
DB11 Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 Grrrr I have Sky Sports anyway but that's downstairs and I liked watching SSN on Freeview in my room And I always watch SSN every morning so it's good. And that reply looks like some 13 year old but I cba to re-write it. CBA is thirteen-ish too..... hmm why am i waffling

Turtles Head Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Shit channel most of the time anyway, apart from Saturdays during the season. Use their website. Glad i ditched Sky in January. It was often too good an excuse to not get down the gym!
BoneDog Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Yeah, I was being literal. Whenever I feel like a semi is coming on, I sit down in front of Sam Matterface and masturbate into complete oblivion, safe in the knowledge that Arsenal Ladies' were all conquering again this season. MATTERFACE When I first joined I thought you were a gay and this is probably why. You must of said something similar back then and I took it that you were a dinner-masher!
lavrentis Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Makes the "News pack" on Sky worth having. That and some nice bird on Russia Today that appears every so often.
AmericanScott Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Makes the "News pack" on Sky worth having. That and some nice bird on Russia Today that appears every so often. And it's only an extra £1 a month.

lcfcadam Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 All the people saying they couldn't care less about SSN going off Freeview are just doing that "making out I don't care because it'll soften the blow" thing, and trying to hide their jealousy of those with Sky. It's obvious it's actually tearing all us non-Sky people up inside...

It's obvious it's actually tearing all us non-Sky people up inside... 6 months ago I'd agree and would have been quite bothered about this. However, I've not watched SSN for ages now and only the reappearance of this thread has made me actually realise that, so I can't say I'd miss it much at all (apart from soccer saturday but you can watch that on the internet).

I'm still sticking to my guns. It's a shit channel. Except for maybe Soccer Saturday, but again I can count on one hand the number of times I've watched that since I got Sky a year ago.
Narborough_fox Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 23rd August change over incase anyone didn't know.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 will miss watching transfer deadline day till midnight
Ozwin Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Not gonna act like I don't give a shit because I waste away many an hour watching this. Guess it's gonna have to be Babestation til 3am now then.
Samilktray Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Im gutted about this, Its always on in the background for me. And being on Virgin I dont even get Babestation. Why do I even need a TV after August 23rd.
AjcW Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 23rd August change over incase anyone didn't know. So the same day it also becomes a HD channel. Could explain a few things perhaps. Any excuse for a good old sky bashing on here anyway. eeesh.

And what's wrong with that? They've practically ruined potentially two of the best fixtures of the season so far in Pompey away and F*rest home.

Who knows, we might get a good player out of it . Also if i was going all the way down to portsmouth I probably would of stayed overnight on the friday anyway. Im not saying its right im just saying its not "Ruining" is it, they've got to make a living too .
Brainy Posted 4 August 2010 Posted 4 August 2010 Im gutted about this, Its always on in the background for me. Same here, really no point in watching TV anymore.
