Nigel Pearson to Hull ?

Going downwards? On the basis of one relegation, you say Hull City are going downwards? And you are going the other way, on the basis of one promotion and one visit to the playoffs? Last season you would have been right, but let's just see what the next one brings, ok?

:dunno:

A season of mid-table mediocrity for Hull and another season of pushing for the play-offs for Leicester. Would be surprised if it was anything other than this as you've got a really poor team and... well... we don't.

thats no piss take my friend you lot just didn't realise how uber gay it looked, and trust me nobody is laughing with you on this one :crylaugh:

It's designed to look gay, so I reckon we do know how gay it looks. It's clearly having the desired affect with you. :trumpet:

Massive step backwards for Pearson professionally if he went to Hull

I can only imagine its money related, AP must be breaking the bank to get him as its a stone cold fact that Hull are absolutely skint

Big clubs will always be big clubs, small clubs will always be small clubs

Hull might only have gotten relegated from the premiership last season but their moment in the spot light is now over and within the next 5 years they will have sank back to where they belong, in and around the third tier

By that stage Leicester, like ourselves, will be back in the premiership where clubs of our size belong

If he goes it will be a decision he lives to regret, they're a nothing club

I wouldn't mind if it was bit of stick, but it's not even that, it's just laughable claims.

By the way, calling us maulers is actually a compliment, I just hope we can live up to it. :chant:

No it's not. It's a pejorative term. I'm deadly certain of that. You absolute raving mauler.

did i mention davids

Sigh, no you have't. I's called using a similar example in recent history to point out they have both said that Pearson has the final say on ALL players. They have both said MM might mention people, but if NP isn't happy about it, the signing will not happen.

And they seem to be agreeing with us and not the maulers...

Hull??? HULL!!??!!!?!

I thought if Pearson was going to leave us, he'd actually go to a decent club with real prospects for the future, not a club with no decent players and are in no better state than us apart from financially.

Shocking.

No-one stays where they're not happy and given the fact that you say Hull CIty have no money, well perhaps the parachute payments (which will mean something when all the creditors have been paid off in 18 months or so time) meant something to him.

If as you all say, Hull are not a step up for him (and you would probably be right) then how about asking your club what has made NP want to consider walking away from the Walkers. So much so that he'd even want to come to us, that would suggest either of two things; he was either desperate to go, or that he didn't share your opinion of Hull City, its chairman and its owner.

I carnt believe this is actualy happening, but i guess we were never supposed to have a manager for over 2 years. I see him as our perfect manager whilst were in this position, just hope MM can pull another diamond out of the ground nd clean him up. Just hope he keeps some respect for the club and doesnt atempt to rob us of Hobbs, Fryatt and King.

Such a shame but i dont think Hull are going anywhere, they allways have been a poor eventless historyless shithole of a shithole, the worst city on the east coast by far. And there fan base isnt decent for the size of their giant estates anyway so if they dont get up this season they aint goin up for allong time and Pearson could fook up some of his rep because geetting a League 1 club to the prem in 3years looks better than 1 promotion from league 1 and a couple years of selling players.

So i hope we bring in an adequate replacement in time for the new season otherwise we could be in trouble this year, and MM would have to be blamed.

fook you Hull and enjoy your rightfull home(out of the prem).

And comon Leicester weve got over worse than this!

(Sorry bout the swears but the situation kindov justifies it)

Oh yeh i hope hes another Peter Taylor for ya

The sooner a new buyer, yes buyer, not investor, buyer, comes in the better.

But what kind of impression and selling speil is this giving any investors (That Milan is crying out for) or even buyers? Any Investors inparticular will be put off if Pearson goes.

Milan knows good business tactics doesn't he, Fucking twat.

There will be a queue of them signing up to Leeds forums now to defend their honour.

I'm going out, I can't be doing with this place today. It's like Sesame Street on here... too many muppets!!

I feel all of the vitriol aimed at Hull is a tad misplaced. Who can blame them for wanting to appoint the best manager that they can? We have 'poached' many managers in the past, and may yet do so in finding Pearsons successor.

I understand that everyone is thoroughly pissed off (myself included) but surely the anger should be reserved exclusively for MM and/or Pearson. It's all getting a bit kindergarten on here at the moment.

Completely agree - gut feeling is that it's MM behind this, I'm sure that most of the facts will come out eventually.

Until then, people should control themselves - and then vent it in the correct direction and with us all doing it together...

:dunno:

You are obviously intelligent enough to know that finishing higher than you did in the previous season is going in the right direction so hence my asumption that my club is improving and yes I am saying relegation is going the wrong way. If you asked me two seasons ago when we landed in league 1 if we were going in the right direction I wouldn't have said 'yes it's only 1 relegation' I have obviously touched on a raw nerve here.

Well, you've got me convinced.

Initially, I had thought that we were a relegated Premier League club who seemed to be holding on to the majority of their squad, with a full stadium every game, with a guaranteed income of £100m over the next four years, who were aiming for an immediate return to the Premier League, but now I see I was sadly mistaken.

Now I see the error of my ways, now I see that we're a tinpot outfit, with a terrible squad, we're a bunch of benefit scroungers living in our small village, off hand outs from the government(thanks for paying our benefits by the way), who deserve nothing and that our camp 'mauled by' chant is not actually ironic and humorous as I believed, but is in fact highly embarrassing.

The shame of it all.

Obviously, I shall now start a campaign, possibly also a facebook group, to promote the Foxes as the biggest team in Europe, with by far the best team in the Championship. Personally, having now seen the light, I think that Leicester should immediately be promoted to the Premier League without the needless farce of having to play their way there, it's only right(let's throw Blackpool out, they've only got three stands ffs). In fact, I'll start a facebook group about that too, it's an outrage, the FA should be disbanded. In fact, I might start a facebook group about that too.

To join the face book group 'Foxes are the biggest team in Europe' - www.facebook.co.uk/delusional

I'm disappointed that it looks like we might appoint a manger by nicking someone else's, it's not ideal, I'd rather things weren't this way, but they are what they are. That doesn't give you an excuse to slag off an entire city, a great city, a city that the majority of you know nothing about and have never been anywhere near. I might even start a facebook group about people who slag of cities they've never been to

You could of course look at it the other way and potential investors may well have thought Nigel WHO?? Perhaps with a higher profile name there might be more interest and a bigger likely-hood someone will invest. Here is a scenario for you, NP is forced out and we get a big name ex-player in charge as requested by a potential investor. Said investor then provides a little pot of gold for us. Although money ain't everything it bloody well helps.

MM is not a twat, he is a business man. I still think there is more to this than just a playing budget. Even if it is not, what would happen to the club if he threw anther £10m at it in the hope we go up and then it does not happen. We would be back to square one and financially fooked again.

We will only be interested till Monday when we find out what is happening and then we will forget Hull exists and by the way we might have 2 drums this season and sme flags does that make us double small time...............The Fosse Boys are on their way

Agree with all this sidewards/backwards step thing blah blah blah...

The one thing that has me confused is the fact that there have been so many candidates mentioned for the Hull job but not once have I heard NP's name. And then suddenly yesterday out of nowhere news came through that it's a done deal. The fact that it has been reported in so many papers/websites means it is quite likely and I'm resigned to thinking he's gone. However, it does still make me wonder how it was kept quiet for so long. Fair play to Hull though, I mean they did it the right way and gave nothing away. Very surprised nonetheless.
