originallambrettaman Posted 26 June 2010 Posted 26 June 2010 I'm a little disappointed that this thread has degenerated into name calling. I'm all for a little bit of club interaction and even a little light hearted banter, but surely we're above this garbage ? I'm proud of my club, I'm proud of my city, I'm not very proud of nicking another clubs manager, but needs must. I wish Leicester fans fans well, I hope they have a decent season, they are a decent club and I take no pleasure in(potentially) nicking their manager, despite the fact that we need a decent manager and it looks like it's yours. There's no need to slag off a city you've never been to, there's no need to diss a club you know little to nothing about, there's no need to do anything other than be a bit annoyed and then move on.

I'm pretty embarrassed by it all. The ****** from both sets of supporters have come out in force tonight.

I think your the only decent Hull fan what has came on here. And as you said, it's not our fault (as supporters) that NP has gone from us to you. I mean, if you look at it on the bright side, causes some banter when you come to the Walkers and vise versa. All the best!
Guest Bilo Posted 26 June 2010 Posted 26 June 2010 If in the unlikely event this move doesn't happen some people are going to look such utter wands.
BoneDog Posted 26 June 2010 Posted 26 June 2010 What's with all the man love? Oooooh I'm disappointed.
Guest Bilo Posted 26 June 2010 Posted 26 June 2010 If in the unlikely event this move doesn't happen some people are going to look such utter wands. Can I say that goes for some regular posters and Hull posters alike? I've made my views clear why I think it'd be a backward move but when you're moving into personal insults it's gone a bit far. That goes for everyone.
Maybes Posted 26 June 2010 Posted 26 June 2010 How does the chap from Hull know that we've never been there? Quite a generalisation if I do say so myself.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 26 June 2010 Posted 26 June 2010 Well I just corrected their Forum thread having a go a Leicester FC... what's rugby gotta do with this? Aside from the fact that they're real Tigers.

Too true my friend, but if you still had players of the calibre of the greats like Ken De Mange, Garreth Roberts, Leigh Jenkinson and Pat Heard - you wouldn't have had a 'cat in hells chance' of getting NP - however, shows things have moved on!!
CheshireFox Posted 26 June 2010 Posted 26 June 2010 i've definitely been to Hull, its definitely the arse end of the universe. i'm not particularly bigging up leicester as a place in comparison, just felt i should make a statement of fact. no surprise really that he'd be commuting no man is bigger than this club. I do believe that NP is the best thing that has happened to this club since MON, but if he wants to leave then let him go. it will be a sad day for leicester city and it will take us a while and a fecking decent decision re replacement to survive it, but we have survived in the past and we will go on to bigger and better. i still hope that this is not confirmed, but having read this thread through i have a gut feeling that come monday he will be leaving us for scummier climes.

Guest Bilo Posted 26 June 2010 Posted 26 June 2010 Who, me? No. At least I don't think so. You've said nothing on here I found out of order.
originallambrettaman Posted 26 June 2010 Posted 26 June 2010 I did generalise a little with the 'you've never been to Hull' comment, I accept that some of you may have been to Hull, but Hull now and Hull just five years ago are two completely different places. I don't claim that Hull now looks like Monaco, merely that it's a decent place, full of decent people and the snide remarks are unwarranted. As I said before, I'm sorry about the way things have gone(or the way they look to have gone), and good luck to you next season.

Guest Posted 26 June 2010 Posted 26 June 2010 It was shit hot in June though, Everywhere's been warm this month
ACF Posted 26 June 2010 Posted 26 June 2010 FFS you lot, just shit the fuck up until some actual news happens.
Daggers Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 Massive step backwards for Pearson professionally if he went to Hull I can only imagine its money related, AP must be breaking the bank to get him as its a stone cold fact that Hull are absolutely skint Big clubs will always be big clubs, small clubs will always be small clubs Hull might only have gotten relegated from the premiership last season but their moment in the spot light is now over and within the next 5 years they will have sank back to where they belong, in and around the third tier By that stage Leicester, like ourselves, will be back in the premiership where clubs of our size belong If he goes it will be a decision he lives to regret, they're a nothing club We all love Leeds
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 27 June 2010 Posted 27 June 2010 To the Hull fans: Your a tinpot club with no history. Your fans are shit, team is shit.. We'll settle this debate with the final league position next season. Poor move by MM and/or NP. Step backwards but cheers anyway NP.
