We paid a lot for him, i think insurance are paying his wages, and if he does come back he is a quality player. Tommy G Posted 14 July 2010 Posted 14 July 2010 I saw him walking with a couple of middle aged people (looked like his parents or family possibly) near Walkabout last sat evening. He wasn't on crutches then, but he wasn't doing a Salsa dance either... Dont think we'll see him play in a city shirt again if this is true about his knee...or whichever one it is. Shame - but we will have to move on without him, I know a lot of people nurse a semi when his name is mentioned on here but we have adequate replacements and did just fine without him all last season.

The injury that forced Aleksandar Tunchev to miss the trip is not believed to be serious. The Bulgarian was kept back as a precaution after experiencing pain and swelling in his left knee, the opposite knee to the one which was operated on in March.
