Well the train from Victoria takes twenty odd minutes I think (details are always abit sketchy with me around that time of day though). Plus a ten minute walk from the station.

Is this pub on New Cavendish Street?

If not, which one is it?

A few of us London based roofers meet up for drinks occasionally, would be nice to have another Leicester pub to visit.

Cheers

Just for the record last year, I bought a Student ticket on the gate for a tenner after a complication in Leicester - a complication which Palace didn't know about, so the lad worrying about being charged extra, I'd be very surprised.

Which is the best overground station to get the train to Thornton Heath from? Can't remember which one I used last time.

Victoria's about the best option mate.

Victoria line from Oxford Circus to Victoria station (about two stops), then the overground to Thornton Heath. About 20 minutes walk from Thornton Heath station.

Victoria or London Bridge are the options.

How did you manage to edit your post to a single full stop? Would love to know what was there before! lol

Not 100% sure about this but I reckon he probably clicked edit and then replaced his post with a full stop, can't be sure though.

Really hope it's a standing game.

Selhurst Train Station is nearer the ground than Thornton Heath....

Thornton Heath has a massive Spoons next to the station which is why most people tend to go for it. Also, the time you save walking to the ground from Selhurst you spend on the train anyway, because Selhurst is the next stop.
