smallpauldj Posted 1 August 2010 Posted 1 August 2010 Good lad! That is the coach i'm getting too I doubt there will be any other City fans on it though Most people are driving, getting the train or getting Fox Travel. ill see you on sat then, 1 thing thats good about national express and the trains to is you have no chance of getting a coach seat next to Bernie. it would be the longest trip of your life just to cov if he was next to you i just cant wait for sat now, world cup was crap and been counting down the days ever since. CMON LEICESTER
Dan Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Going with Dad and his mate on Row twenty something, can't bare the thought of sitting for this one. Our standing at Palace was pretty good last year though. What is our standing normally like first away game? Never been to our first one I heard it was shocking at Ipswich but when your charging £31 a ticket you can imagine what type of fan it'd attract.
kylestyle06 Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Mate sorted ticket for this, but got student!!!!!!!!!! I haven't even got a student card, am I going to get turned away at palace?
SamL Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Mate sorted ticket for this, but got student!!!!!!!!!! I haven't even got a student card, am I going to get turned away at palace? Very unlikely. I've been purchasing student tickets for the majority of games over the last 3 years, I've only ever been asked for ID once && that was at Macclesfield last year when we had to pay on the gate.

Cheers mate.. If so would they just ask for another tenner ?
Guest Bilo Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Cheers mate.. If so would they just ask for another tenner ? I would expect so, but as Sam says, there's no chance of them checking. Go in with a group of people together if you're worried.
Simo86 Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Yeah we 've all got students 5 of us ... me and my mate have got student tickets aswell and always get them when they're available so you should be fine
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Mate sorted ticket for this, but got student!!!!!!!!!! I haven't even got a student card, am I going to get turned away at palace? Doubt it. I think the turnstile operator would have assumed you produced ID to purchase the ticket so they wont ask again.
leicesterseddon Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Mate sorted ticket for this, but got student!!!!!!!!!! I haven't even got a student card, am I going to get turned away at palace? The bloke on the turnstile most probably won't even look at your ticket, so don't worry. We're in the other side of that side stand I think, not directly across from the Holmesdale end. Shame because last time we were right next to their vocal fans. I think something might be lost tbh. Have we shifted the tickets yet?
theboxman1986 Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 I got mine on saturday my problem with foxes travel it dont tell you which coach we'll be on ive used fox travel before and it usually tells you so dont know whats going on anyway it will be my first time to palace so looking forward to it
Guest Mee-9 Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Mate sorted ticket for this, but got student!!!!!!!!!! I haven't even got a student card, am I going to get turned away at palace? I'm on student for this. Think its automatic turnstiles, as the tickets have bar codes on the stubs?

kylestyle06 Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Yes all good. Looking forward to this now. Last season at Palace was a good atmoushphere (after we moved from the moaners who were moaning that we were standing and creating an atmousphere)

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 I'm on student for this. Think its automatic turnstiles, as the tickets have bar codes on the stubs? Usually means electronic turnstiles yes, so you're right.
dimmerchant Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Does anybody know what the crack is regarding e-mailing to get tickets? I e-mailed all last season but used my old man's credit card. If they won't let me e-mail then I doubt they'll let me buy from the TO using his card?

kylestyle06 Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Right where will everyone be standing for this? Last season I had some moaning twat who went and got the stuards because we was standing where he was suppose to be sitting (fair enough as we was in his seat), and then it was musical chairs for the first 15 mins, but found somewhere to stand midway (albeit near a post)!! I want to be able to go somewhere im not going to get moved or piss someone off because they want to sit with their flask! Where will everyone be where me and 4 mates can stand and create an atmoushpere (how it should be at at games). Thanks
