StanSP Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 Brilliant. If we win on Friday, that puts huge pressure on them to win their game in hand, and they play Cardiff on Saturday, so both will drop points in some way. Looking good! Cheers S****horpe!
ajthefox Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 S****horpe ya beauts. Quality win for them, cue another forest slump like last seasons...
ScouseFox Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 Cue "My squad's not big enough, the owners haven't backed me"...
davieG Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 Can't imagine anyone predicted that in the final league topic.
Leicester_Mad Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 my hopes to finish 2nd have grown even bigger...easier said than done but avoid defeat at Forest Cardiff and QPR and we'll be laughing. Putting some money on us winning the league as Warnocks teams normally collapse
ScouseFox Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 Scunny's first home win since August apparently! Lovely time for it.
Corky Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 Cue "My squad's not big enough, the owners haven't backed me"... He'd never say that.
Bugg Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 Scunny's first home win since August apparently! Lovely time for it. Can't help but laugh at your sig ScouseFox
StanSP Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 Guess who Forest's last defeat in the league was.... Leicester City.
lcfc_jme Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 Forest have a horrific run of games from mid-March to mid-April, playing away at Swansea and Leeds, at home against Reading and Burnley, away at Norwich then at home to us. If every other side can keep up their form until that patch, then Forests' defeat tonight could have ruined them. Clearly wishful thinking, but that's a nightmare run of games for anyone.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 Guess who Forest's last defeat in the league was.... Leicester City. I think you'll find it is S****horpe

The big/good teams hold no fear fear for us. It's always the useless rabble at the bottom we lose to. Hey ho, it's about par for the course as a Forest fan.

Ric Flair Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 Massive result last night, but we still need to do the business ourselves. To get automatic promotion we can afford to only drop 7-9 points out of the maximum 45, so that requires about another 12 wins. It's a massive, massive ask.
RedHux Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 That certainly wasn't the case when you visited the Walkers last time round. My quick summary of that game: Sven 1-0 Billy.
Corky Posted 17 February 2011 Posted 17 February 2011 It's always the useless rabble at the bottom we lose to. Apart from Derby.

Hey ho, it's about par for the course as a Forest fan. Not saying it's likely to cause you fear, especially given your own home record, just saying it's a very, very tough run of games which could potentially seriously damage morale and league position if it doesn't go according to plan. I would actually fancy you's to drop points in a minimum of 3 out of those 6. Happy days if we keep winning.
RedHux Posted 18 February 2011 Posted 18 February 2011 Well, yea we'll more then likely drop points. Our recent run was great and all we're not good enough to maintain it, especially given we've only got about 16 fit first teamers at the minute!
Super_horns Posted 18 February 2011 Posted 18 February 2011 Watford have had it for the PO's now, drawing at home to a shite PNE team. We were fairly lucky to get that. TBH We have been punching above our weight and a few injuries have hit us now.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 February 2011 Posted 18 February 2011 We were fairly lucky to get that. TBH We have been punching above our weight and a few injuries have hit us now. Was always going to happen, I like Watford but dont particulary rate them too highly certainly not a playoff team. I said after lost 3-2 at Vicarage Rd we would come above them, and carried on saying that even when they won all those games in a row a while back. Hope you do well though as like I say, I do like Watford.
