So many of these people will have spent thousands and thousands of pounds on their money to watch England this summer, myself included. The only reason I'm not there myself tonight booing is that I've been working to pay off the trip to South Africa. These guys are happy to lap up the adulation when it comes their way so w hen the shit hits the fan they've got to take responsibility and we, as fans, have a right to let them know. Booing is pretty moronic way of doing it, but what other option is there? Lovely goal by Gerrard.

I know where you're coming from and i would truly be pissed off if i had gone to SA but what good does booing do? Booing Rooney off hardly encourages him to do well and want to play like he does for Utd for England and he is one of our best players when confident. The hostile atmosphere is hardly going to help the youngsters who are playing today and they must be on edge every time they touch the ball. BTW, Gerrard- you beauty
