I would give some of the fringe players an opportunity to prove themselves:

Logan



Neilson (Lamey if available) - Parkes - Morrison - Kennedy

John - Wellens - King - Adams

Howard - Campbell

I heard that Hobbs picked up a knock so we should make sure that he is fit for Saturday.

I'd go with that but Fryatt in for Campbell. He needs a goal.

That team looks about right to me :) I expect to see a line-up like that on Tuesday night. Jorrin John seems to be on the fringes of the starting 11, I would like to see him get a run out against Macclesfield. Throw Crncic into the mix too.

It would be nice to see some of the younger players start for the game. I think its important though to give Moreno a game though. In some ways I couldnt give a stuff about the league cup, but obviously I want a Leicester win.

I don't see any point in risking DJ upfront for this game. Best to keep him fresh and injury free. Wellens is also a notable absence from this team, but I think its more important to get Moreno into the team so we can see what he can do and unfortunately there is no room for two defensive midfielders in a home match. I also think its important that Lamey gets a game under his belt despite a decent 7/10 performance by Neilson at the weekend. Late signings has meant that we have not had a chance to test these players in the team and that to me should take preference. I know this is going to be controversial to most on here but believe me my intentions are good and I am not a doom and gloom merchant despite coming from the same town as the dreaded Andy of the BBC Radio Leicester phone ins.

Schlupp to replace someone during the match, not DN'G, that's a bit like for like.

It's important we get the new players gametime because they need to get used to playing with the squad. Just stating the obvious.

Surely we'd like to start roughly the same team, or at least a first team, and give them the chance to bounce back from a defeat? If all the stuff about Sousa being lax about fitness are true then they could use the extra run-out at this point in the season too.

Still like to see fryatt start cause last season he had a crap first game nd then scored against Macclesfield in the cup nd had a big confidence boost so hopefully that happens again

I'd like to see a very strong team, basically the same as yesterday, think they need a decent 3 or 4 nil win under their belts, all be it against a Macclesfield side 2 leagues below us, to boost moral, boost the fans confidence etc

just to add, would love to see this Moreno at some point

we need to time to gel and get used to the way Sousa wants us to play therefore I don't think wholesale changes are needed the majority of the team should stay exactly as it was yesterday
