Corky Posted 8 August 2010 Posted 8 August 2010 Weale Neilson Hobbs Vitor Berner Dyer Oakley Moreno N'Guessan Campbell Fryatt
NGoloMode Posted 8 August 2010 Posted 8 August 2010 I wonder if Sousa will put Dyer on the right every time he plays now? He did amazing against Palace in that position.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 8 August 2010 Posted 8 August 2010 Weale should definately be out, along be out, along with Hobbs and Fryatt, in my view.
mmarkie Posted 8 August 2010 Posted 8 August 2010 Logan Lamey/Nielson Vitor Hobbs© Kennedy Moreno Dyer Gallagher Wellens DJ Howard SUBS Weale Morrison John Fryatt Parkes Berner Oakley
Flynny Posted 8 August 2010 Posted 8 August 2010 Weale should definately be out, along be out, along with Hobbs and Fryatt, in my view. I agree, I'm always up for discarding the spine of a great team after one poor performance, because I'm retarded.
Bert Posted 8 August 2010 Posted 8 August 2010 Logan Lamey Kennedy Vitor Morrison Gallagher Dyer Oakley Wellens Howard Dj
Micky Posted 8 August 2010 Posted 8 August 2010 Logan Lamey Kennedy Vitor Morrison Gallagher Dyer Oakley Wellens Howard Dj Do you know if Moreno is available bert?
Wymsey Posted 8 August 2010 Posted 8 August 2010 Moreno signed a two - year contract so i will presume he will play in some part.
Dylan Posted 8 August 2010 Posted 8 August 2010 Would like to start quite a strong side to get a win and some momentum. Weale Neilson Morrison Hobbs Kennedy Nguessan Wellens Oakley Dyer Fryatt Howard Subs: Logan, Berner, Nguessan/Oakley, DJ, Parkes, Chambers, Verma This is on the assumption that Gallagher and Vitor are still injured. If Vitor is fit, I would start him for Morrison to get a game (not because Morrison played poor on Saturday), and if Gallagher is fit I would start him instead of Nguessan. Would also start Fryatt to try and get a goal to gain some confidence. I would give Berner a rest, starting Kennedy- test him out. Hopefully we get the win early on to give some of the youngsters a run out! *EDIT- just realised Crncic and King are unavailable due to international duty.

Joe. Posted 9 August 2010 Posted 9 August 2010 I reckon it'll be... Weale Lamey/Neilson --- Hobbs --- Morrison --- Berner (looks like he needs the match fitness) Gallagher --- King --- Moreno --- Dyer Campbell --- Howard
The Doctor Posted 9 August 2010 Posted 9 August 2010 Moreno signed a two - year contract so i will presume he will play in some part. Depends how long he's waiting for international clearance - doesn't it go through UEFA along with every other transfer from country to another country? Could easily be waiting till m'boro before he's able to play.
Bugg Posted 9 August 2010 Posted 9 August 2010 I reckon it'll be... Weale Lamey/Neilson --- Hobbs --- Morrison --- Berner (looks like he needs the match fitness) Gallagher --- King --- Moreno --- Dyer Campbell --- Howard King isn't available!
artursteppe Posted 9 August 2010 Posted 9 August 2010 I would start our strongest 11, forget sat use this as a friendly, put in a good performance, get a good result, then carry it through to Boro! I want to see all the new boys, especially Moreno, cos we need a defensive midfielder player with strength in the team ASAP! Also Vitor, and the ex PSV boy if he has signed, and maybe Crncic up front with Big Steve.

MiniFox Posted 9 August 2010 Posted 9 August 2010 I would go for: GK Logan RB Lamey CB Parkes CB Morrison LB Kennedy RW John CM Adams CM Wellens LW Dyer ST Fryatt ST Howard
Unabomber Posted 9 August 2010 Posted 9 August 2010 Logan Lamey Parkes Hobbs Kennedy Dyer Moreno Wellens N'guessan Howard Campbell
Jimmy Posted 9 August 2010 Posted 9 August 2010 Weale Neilson Morrison Parkes KennedyDNG Moreno Wellens DyerHoward Campbell strong team to go for a a confidence building thumping of Macclesfield
Lcfcman2010 Posted 9 August 2010 Posted 9 August 2010 strong team first 45min get a lead and give the new boys a run out for a half. i'm sure we'd build upon a lead. 30/45min should be enough for debutants in a League cup game. Lamey to start if availble though. had his run out against sunderland.
Sods Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Weale Lamey Hobbs Morrison Kennedy N'Guessan Moreno Wellens Gallagher Howard Fryatt Weale, Fryatt, Hobbs and Morrison need games. I wouldnt even have Deej, Dyer, Oakley involved. Bring off Hobbs, Gallagher and Fryatt after he scores. Subs - Crncic, Vitor/Parkes, Adams if alive, Logan, Neilson, John, Moore
marbelladave Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Hopefully Sousa will play who ever needs the game, the emphasis must be on saturday. Anyway, even a pretty experimental XI should be enough to see off the opposition, so long as it not just the kids and fringe players. At this stage of the season the players all need games so I expect a fairly strong side with a fair few of the new players getting a run out. Just hoped that Sousa saw enough first half at Palace to realise that 4-4-2 is not the way to set up with the players we have!...
C-man Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Looking forward to having a relaxing evening there tonight. Hopefully we'll play some good stuff and Fryatt, Hobbs and Morrison play themselves into a bit of form.
