Tevez Posted 19 October 2010 Posted 19 October 2010 Brilliant, considering I've never watched 1 & 2. I enjoyed it lots.
Fosse Boy Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 Reckon I saw the guy who played Wolfy at London Bridge on the way back from Millllllllllllll.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 January 2011 Posted 27 January 2011 Whacked the first half of series one on earlier just to kill some time. It did used to be absolutely class, the more I watch 1 & 2, the more I realise how shoddy series 3 was.
Unit Posted 14 July 2011 Posted 14 July 2011 Fun fact of the day: Matt Elliot's daughter is in the film
samlcfc Posted 15 July 2011 Posted 15 July 2011 Fun fact of the day: Matt Elliot's daughter is in the film yeh, shes in the teaser trailer. Used to see her hanging about sometimes, Matt Elliot sure did a good job
ajthefox Posted 15 July 2011 Posted 15 July 2011 Seen that trailer posted loads, first time I've watched it. Looks quality.
Yojoe36 Posted 15 July 2011 Posted 15 July 2011 Quality stuff. Can't wait for it to come out. I was gonna buy the whole 3 series DVD set, until I saw that all the episodes are on 4oD on YouTube.
Stevosevic Posted 15 July 2011 Posted 15 July 2011 Who does Elliotts daughter play? Looked at the cast list and couldn't see the name Elliott.
Matt Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Dunno if it'll be any good, feel they pushed it abit with the last series, but might go and see it. It's one of those things where you want to see more but if they do more it'll probably not be as funny, such as The Office, although i'd like to have seen another series, glad they didn't. Edit - Oh it's already been posted Oh well.
FazzaF Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Have missed watching the Inbetweeners Can't wait for this!
Craig Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 What the ****ing hell is that?! They've actually used the same names, scenes, and everything. Wow.
HEGGSY Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 WHAT THE FVCK!!!! The only thing I found amusing was the dislike bar... 170 likes, 11,483 dislikes
Ozwin Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 Facebook, FoxesTalk and this other forum I go on have all mentioned the dislike bar now. It's viral now, that bar will reach the hundreds of thousands within 24 hours.
purpleronnie Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 Whats wrong with it...I actually laughed.....not sure what people expected?
HEGGSY Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 Whats wrong with it...I actually laughed.....not sure what people expected? I think most people knew an American remake was in the works, which is bad enough, but then to completely rip it off almost scene by scene is just fvcking woeful, from Simon's car door coming off at Thorpe park to Will hitting the girl in the wheelchair with a frisbee (Although this time its an American football....Sigh ) I mean FFS, if your going to remake a successful comedy at least be original with your ideas and not just blatantly copy it line for line and expecting the same success.
Leicesterpool Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 I like Inbetweeners it isn't the best comedy ever, but still entertaining. US version isn't going to work!

Not sure how a remake can be that original, if it aint broke dont fix it.
Guest ttfn Posted 18 July 2012 Posted 18 July 2012 Not sure how a remake can be that original, if it aint broke dont fix it. Don't remake it then. In my opinion, the Inbetweeners is the best original comedy that Britain's produced since Blackadder (and I really liked the Office). There should be absolutely no need to remake it to appeal to an American market, and if nobody in America will watch it unless the lines are delivered in a hammy fashion by somebody with an American accent rather than the original British cast, then more fool them, they don't deserve it.
