Every now and then i like to scan the forum looking for pillocks. 'Let's do a bit of pillocking' i cheerily say to myself. I love it.

It's a bit like fishing and is usually quite hard to find a nice size pillock on this quite sensible forum. Normally i would advocate throwing them back and ignoring them until they have grown up a bit,

but every now and then you land a fookin great big tw@t of a pillock that is just begging for the frying pan.

I like to prod and play with these God-awful beasts and find out why they were bullied or who did they bully.

Does it still crave attention from it's mummy pillock.

I really do enjoy an evening Pillocking.

Thank you Ibbosuk you great big tw@tting pillock.

Love it! This ibsucks really does suck! I can't believe we are even having a discussion about 'singing' at a football ground. I have been following city since I wAS a young lad( wallington, lineker smith Henderson etc.) the whole point of a supporter is to support their team. This involves singing and chanting not sitting on your hands. Next time I go to to the walkers I will make sure I am with the fosse boys, 43 years old but know that singing is what going to a match is all about. C'mon city fookin love you!!!

I started a topic b4 the boro match about being 'priced out'. Now I hear about OUR club trying to force out other loyal fans, it makes me sick and angry that what is supposed to be a club that belongs to the community is now so out of touch, I love lcfc and Always will do but I think the time has come to stop buying shirts every year and other items and find other things to do on a sat afternoon. Love you Leicester but will be going to Hinckley utd till we get our club back( if ever)

I know what you are saying and its through principle and stuff but last time I went Hinckley Utd or Nuneaton Borough it was £10 I think (Possibly more forget now but atleast £10) now if you were moaning about being priced out at Leicester, now you can (Might not be where you want to sit but beggers can't be choosers, and being based on the 'Just The Ticket' areas there is only a limited amount of seats but there are seats still available) get a season ticket that works out £6 more than a Hinckley Utd game (Based on £10 a game as I said it might be more than £10 to see Hinckley Utd now, Might be less but doubt they'd have lowered there prices - I would be surprised), Maybe £6 is the difference, something you can't quite afford on your budget, I don't know, but i'd pay £6 extra to watch Leicester and the quality of the league rather than Hinckley Utd and the quality of that league (No disrespect) That is all I will stick up for with the club, otherwise everything else and ticket prices elsewhere in the stadium have to questioned really.

As I said I know it's through principle and I see your points though.

P.s - You might be waiting a long time. It will never be 'our' club again, despite however many times people associated with the club tell us it's 'our' club.

embarrassed to call myself a city fan!! this needs to be publicised to as many people as possible and try to make a scene of AND make the club realise how ignorant they are!!!!

also how about moving over the L1 for a while, try to get them on side them moving back with more fans? or maybe get tickets in the west stand and protest with banners etc in front on barclay and the new owners? just a thought....

SUPPORTERS, NOT CUSTOMERS!

E-mail sent in support. I think we've outnumbered the supposed 22 twats (most of who probably contravene ground regulations themselves with their flasks).

Keep up the good work; try not to give them any excuse to throw you out - I know it's difficult if being in possession of a scarf is an offence!

I haven't read all of the threads relating to the Fosse Boys but perhaps someone could clarify something for me?

I'm in favour of the creation of a better atmosphere at the Walkers Stadium but how integral to this is the insistence on standing?

Reading the pros and cons about standing on the Football Licensing Authority's website http://www.flaweb.org.uk/ and the Club's statement http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~576284,00.html dated 17th May 2004 I don't understand how the Fosse Boys can expect the Club to "officially" allow standing in view of existing legislation and run the risk of the Safety Certificate being withdrawn and ultimately the club that you support ceasing to exist.

If the Fosse Boys can help in changing the law - fine - but until then how can the Fosse Boys expect success if standing is an integral part of the movement? How can the Leicester Mercury or anybody else critise the Club if it is simply enforcing the law of the land?

Can a Fosse Boy explain this for me?

Hundreds of supporters stand for every game and have done for many years.... its all about equal treatment.

May be the Club condone standing unofficially but have to be seen to take action in the face of an orchestrated campaign.

I totally agree on this point. One of the stated aims of the Fosse Boys IS to be able stand and sing. The club cannot be seen to be allowing an organised group to stand as this is in direct conflict with current legislation, whereas L block are just standers. There are of course double standards, but the fact the Fosse Boys are actively looking to stand might be causing problems?

The emphasis on standing (if that is an integral part of the movement) could detract the aims of the movement from support/improving ther atmosphere to a protest group wanting to change the law.

I know its been against 'regulation' to stand at grounds for years but even after all this time I still can't believe that clubs are so OTT in the way they handle it. Surely if 10,000 fans decide to stand there is little they could do, but it seems most are happy to sit, which of course is their right but I often wonder if they sit because they feel they have to and given the choice would probably stand during games.

There are no laws (to my knowledge) saying you can't stand in an all seated stadium. There are reports and reccomendations only. The FLA issue guidance and so do the Football League about there expectations of what ground rules should be. It is for the CLUB to determine what their ground regulations are.

In response to the article on 17th May 2004

Disrupt viewing for fellow supporters - Fosse Boys were in nobodys way, kept to a part of the ground away from others

Compromise your safety - one person standing per seat ensures no blocking of the aisles and vomitaries, no reports of accidents or issues in L block over last few years.

Endanger club's safety certificate - If the club allowed safe standing then the supporters would not be breaking ground rules so no danger to certificate (but now sorely tempted to contact the city council and complain about L block breaking ground regulations and asking council to withdraw safety certificate).

Can badly affect the team -promoting atmosphere and encouraging them to do better, yes I hope it does effect them.

Another point is that senior members of the FLA and Football Leaugue regularly attend high profile televised games at which thousands of people stand all game. As there have been no sanctions placed on these clubs it is clear they turn a blind eye without ever saying it's acceptable and strangely none of these clubs have lost there safety certificate.

Leicester do turn a blind eye to standing and yes the Fosse Boys do want to stand breaking current ground regulations but nothing will change if it's not challenged.

Viva Leicester

In practice, the club already allows standing in other parts of the ground - L1 and back rows of other areas of the Kop being examples. It may not be "officially" sanctioned but it happens week in, week out. Why are the Fosse Boys being singled out?

These fans are not a safety threat, and the suggestion otherwise by Barclay and/or his apologists is as absurd as it is offensive.

Name me ONE example where a safety certificate has been withdrawn due to misbehaviour by supporters? If it hasn't happened at the Den (where numerous riots have taken place) I'd suggest it's VERY unlikely to happen at the Way.

The club statement you quote dates from a time when the stadium was full for every game, a scenario unlikely to be repeated this side of promotion, therefore making the statement completely out of context.
