L1HT Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Yo 1) - Fosse Boys protest at the end? I didn't see it as I needed a pint, but why don't you advertise that you'll have a little demo? I'd walk round and join you on the 90th Minute. Even if you get 50 additional people its 100% rise on your current number. Get 100 people round and could make quite a bit of noise. Sure plenty of people would be happy to stay to shout their disgruntlement at the club. Get 300 people and its a full on Demo. Wont take much, everyone like a bit of aggro and they can't make you sit down. 2) - I wonder what difference the clubs communication would have been if they hadn't sacked Peter Jones!! Whose his replacement? Jones was effectively a go between for fans and the club, and a good one at that! (You could even ring him up to find out Leicester Ladies fixtures) Wonder if thats why the club sacked him hey! Anyway stop bringing L1 into it else they'll make us sit down. Peace

leftsideoverhere Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Excellent. You should make sure you've got some clear ideas about what you want to come out of the meeting. First of, obviously, the club should withdraw any nonsense about people being associated with the Fosse Boys being refused entry to games. And secondly, you should get an agreed channel of communication between the FB and the club which doesn't rely on word-of-mouth, or third-party telephone conversations. This isn't the US government negotiating with Saudi terrorists, for fook's sake. The least they can do in future is send you a polite email. Beyond that, it will depend on what the club want, I guess. Good luck!

1964FOX Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Lovely, distraction of transfers over and back to the important stuff. Hopefully it will all go well and some compromise can be reached that suits both sides. Make sure you remain focused and calm at the meeting. You have a lot of support and the club obviously know that, I think there may be a chance the relationship between Fosse Boys and club can be repaired. if it is it will provide a platform for the group to become an established part of the Leicester city match day experience.

cambridgefox Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Ive have been away for a week,but i get the idea of what is going on,from the 1st post(Too noisy)i thought this was a joke.At FS we used to stand on the seats all match,i bet we will be in the minority of clubs if we all sat down.seems to me the club is getting a little snobbish,and think they are better than they are.Dear oh dear! Sorrry if some of this has alredy been posted.Good luck everyone,remember to sit down and speak in hushed tones!
