Jim Flowers Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Having listened to the interview, it is pretty obvious to me that Sousa misunderstood the question. There may well be interest from Premier league clubs in players such as King, Hobbs and Fryatt, and why wouldn't there be, they're quality players at this level. I think the transfer request comment has been completely blown out of all proportion!! He probably though Stringer was asking if there had been any interest or bids for any of our players. I for one cannot wait until Wednesday morning when we'll have a better idea of what is going on! But that's exactly what's so frustrating.... if Sousa can't understand an english question, how can the players understand him.. British Managers only for LCFC!!
Bugg Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 But that's exactly what's so frustrating.... if Sousa can't understand an english question, how can the players understand him.. British Managers only for LCFC!! What a xenophobic comment. I'm sure the players can understand him.
sdb Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 HOBBS AND KING - PLEASE STAY. YOU'RE THE FUTURE OF THIS CLUB!!!
themotivator Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 But that's exactly what's so frustrating.... if Sousa can't understand an english question, how can the players understand him.. British Managers only for LCFC!! You've just lost a frustrating 2-1 in a game you probably should have won, at a new club you have still yet to win with in the league and string pops up with a mic and his annoying little face. i'd have trouble listening carefully too. o'neil was not english. what has english got to do with it. i cant understand fergie half the time either.
Swansea Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 As you were warned from day one "he's your problem now".
MikeyT Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 I'm usually pretty much a positive guy but all this transfer request stuff has me very worried. Especially if it's 2 or 3+ of our best players. I would rather lose Sousa anyday than the likes of King, Wellens, Fryatt, Hobbs etc. Worrying times, especially with only a few days left of the transfer window.
Milans Foxes Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 You've just lost a frustrating 2-1 in a game you probably should have won, at a new club you have still yet to win with in the league and string pops up with a mic and his annoying little face. i'd have trouble listening carefully too. o'neil was not english. what has english got to do with it. i cant understand fergie half the time either. Exactly! Where the hell did Stringer pull the question about transfer requests from anyway, why can't he be a bit more positive in his questioning!! And then to have the cheek to ask him how he felt about his position after four games. Journalists always ask ridiculous questions in the vaguest possible language to try and get a confused response which gives them a big story. We saw the same with Gabriel Clarke asking stupid questions to capello knowing full well he probably wouldn't understand what he meant!! The language barrier hasn't stopped Chelsea has it and Ancellotti hasn't got the greatest grasp of english!
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Dj obviously, King (Why else was he on the bench, tactics my arse), Fryatt.
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 As you were warned from day one "he's your problem now". Yes because we have a say in who manages our team, it's four games in, it's too soon to make a judgement either way, now knob off and play with sheep!!
foxesfan1989 Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Wonder when we will know, i guess not until the end of the transfer window, surely Fryatt is on the minds of most LCFC fans though.
Guest NGoloMode Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 This is stupid. Sousa misunderstood the question.
sdb Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 As you were warned from day one "he's your problem now". cool. do u post pointless crap on every team's forums?
themotivator Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 This is stupid. Sousa misunderstood the question. people aren't getting this.
Aeropars Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 I think it was pretty evident on the pitch that the togetherness it not quite there from last season. For me, everyone on the pitch looked normal in their application so to judge on body language is pretty rubbish. I'm not convinced by the appointment of Sousa and the state of the dressing room is down to one man. Him! If theres a dressing room problem then Sousa needs to go. Its proven that the players get on fantastically as shown last season. I fear the worst if the transfer requests, if true.
Claudio Kembridgino Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 We need to get rid of the dead weight. Some players are pearsons players, and they do not want to play under Paulo. So lets get rid of them, Paulo can then buy some players he likes and play his way. The sooner Fryatt leaves and we get a better replacement the better.
Ozwin Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 I'd rather keep Fryatt, Wellens and Gallagher than keep Sousa just because 'they're not his players'
Jay Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 My link Skip to 5hrs 50mins for Sousa on players and transfer requests
Aeropars Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 This is stupid. Sousa misunderstood the question. Just had a listen. Totally disagree. Sounds like he understood it perfectly in my opinion.
Claudio Kembridgino Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 I'd rather keep Fryatt, Wellens and Gallagher than keep Sousa just because 'they're not his players' They will not perform under Sousa though, and unless we get pearson back they will not perform under the next manager if we get rid of sousa.
cc_star Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 DJ & Morrison I'd have thought "His head isn't right" is surely code for he wants to feck off and it doesn't take a genius to work out a dropped player may be aggrieved enough to want out
Spencer Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Cant be assed fishing through 9 pages, but its Fryatt, Howard and Wellens according to my Media Officer friend at the Walkers.. Apparently its very hush hush.
Yojoe36 Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Fryatt, cause he's been dropped from starting xi to the bench in just 4 game Morrison Neilson, he became better too late (good game at boro, which almost never happens) but he's been dropped for lambly who I think is pure crap I not sure but king may have. He's got big things ahead of him, he's a welsh international, and he gonna be a big name one day, he's too good for us, but he'll be scouted sooner or later I feel dissapointed that players have gave up but I hope it dosen't turn out like the Stoke goalkeeper, we a know what happened there
teblin Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Who ever it is if they want out get rid asap so they can replaced. No point having players at the club who want out.
