bald reynard Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Can those unlucky enough to see Colin W**ker 'mastermind' a win, post some City ratings please ?
C-man Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme 3 Neilson 4 Hobbs 6 Morrison 6 Berner 6 Wellens 3 Oakley 6 King 6 Dyer 6 Fryatt 4 Waghorn 4 Subs: Howard 5 Gallagher 3
martyn Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme 5 - Picked the ball out of his net twice. Doesn't look comfortable under the high ball and kicking is extremely mediocre Neilson 5 - Reverted to the rubbish Robbie of last season. Hobbs 7.5 - Solid individual performance, especially 2nd half. Morrison 6.5 - Decent generally but culpable for 2nd goal. Berner 6 - Looking of the pace again, poor deliveries when got forward Dyer 6 - Promising start but faded after Oakley 6.5 - Sprayed some nice passes out wide but was shackled by hard working QPR midfield Wellens 4 - Terrible King 5.5 - No influence whatsoever Waghorn 5 - Lots of endeavour as always but confidence visibly waned. Will be wasted in midfield Fryatt 5 - A non factor and took too many touches around the penalty area Subs: Howard 6.5 - Won plenty in the air, should have had a penalty Gallagher 4 - Shot 5 times from 30 yards, each effort was worse than the one which preceeded
Cropwellfox Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme 4 - Distribution was terrible, didn't have much to do apart from kicking, which was pants. Neilson 5 - Got into a couple of brilliant positions, and completely wasted them Morrison 5 - worrying Hobbs 7 - couldn't tell how culpable he was for first goal, but a couple of moments of premier league class Berner 6 - steady Dyer 5 - started well disappered without trace Oakley 6 - gets a bad press, but i thought he was far better than Wellens today Wellens 3 - just terrible King 6 - competent Fryatt 4 - doesn't look up to it Waghorn - 4 played in a posiiton he'll never succeed at Howard - 6,5 offered a bit of passion and was an outlet at least Gallagher - 4 if you are 0-1 down at home to a team of cloggers he is NOT the answer.
Corky Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme- 4 (Sooner Weale is back the better) Neilson- 4 (Tried but distribution was poor) Hobbs- 6 (Decent effort) Morrison- 6 (See Hobbs) Berner- 5 Oakley- 6 (Kept possession well and wasn't helped by his partners) Wellens- 4 (Wayward passing, lacked authority) King- 5 (Hardly in the game) Dyer- 5 (Started well but faded) Waghorn- 5 (Got little out of the defence) Fryatt- 4.5 (Struggled all game)
Webbo Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme 6 Neilson 6.5 Hobbs 7 Morrison 6.5 Berner 7 Wellens 6 Oakley 6 King 6 Dyer 6 Fryatt 6 Waghorn 6 Subs: Howard 6.5 Gallagher 6
Messi Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 It really does make me laugh how people slate Morrison, I thought he was probably one of our best players today. Ikeme was just as much to blame as Morro for the 2nd goal cause he started to come out then stop, and Hobbs was near the halfway line when they scored. At least Morrison wins stuff in the air, I don't think I have seen Hobbs win one ball all season straight from the air, he either gets Morrison to do it for him or let's it bounce first before he attempts to head it, but some of you are so far up his arse you can't spot errors in their game, along with the likes of King, who was anonymous for the majority of the match, but cause he has scored a few goals this year he can't do anything wrong at the minute. People either slate Oakley or Neilson cause they are easy targets, even though they have been 2 of our best performers this year.
acooling08 Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme - 3 - Won't come of his line for toffee. WEALE <3 Neilson - 5 - Meh Hobbs - 7 - Solid Morrison - 7 - Solid Berner - 6 - Meh Dyer - 4 - Never did anything, came inside too much. Wellens - 2 - Utter wank. Oakley - 5 - Meh King - 4 - Crap today. Fryatt - 6 - Did all he could with long balls against tall defenders. Waggy - 5 - Poor game. Ref - 2 QPR - 8

He won plenty in the air today/this season.
milan_foxes Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme - 5 Neilson - 6.5 Hobbs - 9 Morrison - 7 Berner - 6.5 Waghorn - 7 Wellens - UTTER SHITE Oakley - 6.5 King - 7 Dyer - 8 Fryatt - 9
Messi Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Maybe I was abit over the top saying he has won nothing in the air, but he doesn't look like the Hobbs of last year who would head a rock falling from the sky. He does look abit hesitant at times, and does let it bounce quite a lot first.
Guest ttfn Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme - 5 Neilson - 6.5 Hobbs - 9 Morrison - 7 Berner - 6.5 Waghorn - 7 Wellens - UTTER SHITE Oakley - 6.5 King - 7 Dyer - 8 Fryatt - 9 I presume you meant 'nein' rather than 'nine'?
milan_foxes Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 I presume you meant 'nein' rather than 'nine'? Take it that was about Fryatt?
Guest ttfn Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Take it that was about Fryatt? Just generally - seems neither of them were great.
dandannieldanok Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme 4 (Weale or Logan please) Neilson 5 (Went into McGivern mode and let every single cross come in from his side, improved as the game went on but needs to be sharper) Hobbs 7 (Not at his best but still fine, tried his best to get us going forward) Morrison 7 (Pretty good I thought, won his fair share in the air and on the ground, his composure on the ball has improved no-end) Berner 6 (Started really well but faded, exposed as the game got stretched) Oakley 7 (Did fine, got caught out once or twice but generally got on the ball more than any other Leicester player, got stuck in) Wellens 4 (From hero to zero, lost so many battles in the midfield) King 5 (Lost his way in the game, stray passes, credit to the opposition for quelling his attacking threat) Waghorn 3 (Woeful, out of position yes, but that's no excuse for the poor technique, poor awareness, and a lack of desire) Fryatt 6 (Got better as the game went on, things didn't quite fall his way but a few promising signs, held the ball up reasonably well) Dyer 5 (Started well but as soon as he traded wings, he completely lost his way) Howard 6 (Battled hard, should have had a penalty) Gallagher 4 (Wasted so much in good positions, but we need someone to have a pop at their goal)
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme - 3 Can't be adding any confidence to our shaky back line Nielson- summed it up when Ikeme threw him the ball to take a throw in & he couldn't control it with 2 hands. He trys hard, but lacks awerness and has a poor touch. Looked nervous to me. Morrison - 6 needs to have a run of games with Hobbs, I like him. Some fault for the last goal but admitted it, and was knackered. Hobbs - 7 solid enough Berner - 5.5 like many hasn't hit last seasons form yet. Not bombing on and linking. Waghorn - 6 never stopped, but he isn't a wide man. He cant be used like this, its like fryatt was with hollowhead! Wellens - 4 I like him, but poor today Oakley - 5 very negative, too much backward play. Wasn't helped by his partners but I'm looking forward to seeing Abi. He was in Alan Hanson's World cup 11. King -? Didn't think he played. Dyer -4 started well, but didn't track back for their first goal & after switching wings didn't figure. Fryatt - 4 slow, ineffective. Gallagher -4 tried, shot, hard to come on at that time & change it. Howard - 7 galvanised the crowd, should have been awarded a pen for a blow to the face, won most in the air, linked play well. He was a handful. 1st half we played so slowly & I've never known us pass the ball back so much. Invariably when we pass it back to the keeper in an effort to retain possession he kicks it long towards fryatt & waghorn. Any point in this? Worried, but I'll still be at Pompey Tuesday night. Hobbs - pretty solid.
ousefox Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme - 5 Neilson - 6 Hobbs - 8 Morrison - 5.5 Berner - 6 Waghorn - 5.5 Wellens - 4 Oakley - 6 King - 6 Dyer - 6 Fryatt - 4
Finnegan Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme 3 Neilson 4 Hobbs 6 Morrison 6 Berner 6 Wellens 3 Oakley 6 King 6 Dyer 6 Fryatt 4 Waghorn 4 Subs: Howard 5 Gallagher 3 Bit harsh on Neilson I feel, thought he was a bit more solid than Bruno Berner who I thought had a fairly poor game to be honest. He hasn't quite dazzled this season really. Agree with most of the rest, though, except maybe Gallagher. At least Gally was trying to be fair.
milan_foxes Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Just generally - seems neither of them were great. Fryatt worked his sodding socks off! Up there on his own, i'm sure Waghorn & Dyer were meant to be Strikers when attacking but they were none existant IMO. Yes, Matty won nothing in the air but at least he tried. He ran everything down and made it hard work for QPRs defence, and they ended up just pumping it up and Hobbs & Morrison ended up dealing with it. In my opinion, playing one up-front is a terrible tactic and whoever plays there will be slated because they have to do everything on their own so i'd cut him abit of slack.
BedsFox Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme 5 Inspires no confidence at all in me. No better than Logan imo Neilson 5 Positionally poor. Wholehearted as ever, but limited. Hobbs 7 Our best player today I thought, a revelation going forward Morrison 5 Not quite up to Sousa's style I think. Vitor in soon? Berner 6 Out of position for the first goal Wellens 5 Frustrating game Oakley 5 Not the performance of Tuesday, seen as a 60 minute performer anyway. Abe to replace him soon? King 6 Snuffed out by Derry, little threat Dyer 6 Promising start, faded badly. Two games a week seems a no no for him Fryatt 4 At least he tried but still a bit off the pace, lacking sharpness and little threat Waghorn 5 Wasted out wide. Not quite sure why he was re-signed if the plan is to play him wide left Subs: Howard 5 Mugged for half an hour Gallagher 4 Miracle long range shots not the ordfer of the day. Terribly frustrating

Karljohn Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme 5 - Doesn't command the box, poor distribution. Neilson 6 - An average shift, worked hard but wasted crossing opportunities. Morrison 5 -Turning circle of a bus towing a tractor. Hobbs 6 - Went missing at a couple of crucial moments, average performance. Berner 6 - Steady improvement game by game. Dyer 5 - Sousa switched him, Dyer faded. Oakley 6 - Did the simple things reasonably well. Wellens 2 - Utter shite King 5 - Ok but his legs had gone after 75 minutes and Moussa would have perhaps added to the team at that point. Fryatt 4 - Won nothing in the air, looks like he's carrying a bit of timber, not his best day. Waghorn 5 - 3m to play him out of position? Mandaric won't be happy that his signing is not being utilized correctly. Howard 5 - Offered something different but soon faded. Gallagher 3 - No impact at all, I am a fan of Gally but you can't do some of the stuff he did today when your chasing the game.
