Captain... Posted 1 October 2012 Posted 1 October 2012 Just watched the highlights programme on BBC, blimey that was tense as, can't believe Kaymer nailed that putt, must have ice in his veins I was feeling the pressure sitting on my ass drinking a beer.

purpleronnie Posted 1 October 2012 Posted 1 October 2012 me too, I couldn't watch it, everytime I did some yank would make a great shot so I swtiched it off and told myself if we win I'll watch the highlights. Pretty amazing stuff.
AKCJ Posted 1 October 2012 Posted 1 October 2012 I've just seen the highlights. Absolutely superb. Kaymer and Rose are heroes.
Ric Flair Posted 1 October 2012 Posted 1 October 2012 I said we could do it if we turned up and had some belief, the first 2 days was very unlike us and although there was little sign bar Poulter and a few others of any fight those first two days, we still possessed an awful lot of quality in our team. Yesterday was just phenomenal, never witnessed golf like it or sport like it. The Ryder Cup is special at the best of times, but that was just mesmerising. I doubt we'll ever see such events again but then again sport keeps on producing this year. What a year we've been spoilt with. Rose was a warrior yesterday, infact they allw ere but to duff it in the sand at 16 at 1 down and look to be done for and then get the half and scorch two monster birdies up 17 and 18 with Mickleson giving it the big'un was beyond words. Mickleson is so greasy. So pleased for Kaymer as well, he's had a horror 18 months and this will be so sweet for him. I hope he rediscovers his form, you always want a German with a penalty kick and that's what he had with those putts up 17 and 18. Olazabal deserves that, he's been an inspiration all his golfing career and his respect and admiration for Seve, the legend makes this so poignant. I'm man enough to admit tears rolled down my face when Ollie burst in to tears at the end. This is for you Seve. BOSTIN'
Mack Posted 1 October 2012 Posted 1 October 2012 I still cant fathom how we managed to win this. And I was enjoying the trophy ceremony late last night when the septic host announced Alex Salmond to the stage. The pot bellied arrogant pan faced bigoted **** ruined my evening with his crap speech and horrific tartan trousers.
Vacamion Posted 1 October 2012 Posted 1 October 2012 The pot bellied arrogant pan faced bigoted **** You forgot 'power crazy, lying, unctuous delusional tartan clad petty-ecosser' but I still like the cut of your argument's jib

Guest MattP Posted 1 October 2012 Posted 1 October 2012 It was nice to see Europe playing America at their own game by turning up late and claiming victory.
