Dames Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Thanks Mandy for saving us financially at least. But from a footballing perspective your such a Scoundrel.
dandannieldanok Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Who cares. Hes nobody now. Exactly, the guy went months ago, time to get behind Sven.
Onions Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 People saying Milan did it for money is comical.... I mean Milan would never spend money on wages, it's not like Sven will be expecting any money...... Ffs people think about it.

Salieri Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 I switched the radio off at 6. If they put it on the internet will someone post a link. Me too <_< But reading comments on here seems like everything happened pretty much as the majority of us expected it did. Nice work Mandy and Hoos.
wurmer Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Yes but how does getting rid of Pearson and getting Sousa in result in more ££££ ? Made the club a more attractive proposition to sell it....
Philbert Fox Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 That's what I thought, you've confused me though because you said it was a good feeling he'd be sacked? Did you not like Pearson? Or was that just the way you phrased it. Well if I'm honest I didn't like his style of play, but it worked, it got results so what the hell, aslong as the team were doing well thats what mattered, but with the way Mandaric treated the likes of Rob Kelly, Martin Allen and Ian Holloway who didn't meet his demands, I knew last season that if Nigel Pearson didn't meet his demands (promotion) he would have been gone one way or another, and thats what happened...
MC Prussian Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Pearson was very careful with his statements, only letting "it" shine through occasionally. Still, he got the message across and I feel sorry for the way he was ousted in the summer. And - could someone please find some flattering adjectives for both Milan "Humpty" Mandaric and Lee "Dumpty" Hoos?
davieG Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Yes but how does getting rid of Pearson and getting Sousa in result in more ££££ ? Because it was a condition of the takeover. No 'famous manager' no takeover no money for MM he saved our club no doubt about tht but time has shown his true colours. to back stab np like he did makes me sick tht he is associated with my beloved city. milan should stand up admit hes a total tosser and let the thai's bring in some1 who has heart for the club as chairman....... m.george back??? any1? Prove it! Save us from what relegation to L3 for the first time in our history
Matt Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 People saying Milan did it for money is comical.... I mean Milan would never spend money on wages, it's not like Sven will be expecting any money...... Ffs people think about it. That's not the point though is it. People's beef with Milan is the fact he got rid of a manager, a stable manager who won us promotion at the first time of asking, got us 1 penalty kick from a playoff final spot (At which time he was already being backstabbed) and then let him go, bought Sousa in, which resulted in a waste of 9 games and the rest is history. Milan changed the whole feeling of the club, by getting rid of one important team - The management team that had done us wonders over the previous 2 seasons, all for a quick buck of selling the club.
wurmer Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Because it was a condition of the takeover. No 'famous manager' no takeover no money for MM Prove it! Too many people believe the Mercury.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Feeling smug again, as I knew all of this months ago.

MM will be with Pompey from January. The deal is done.
Salieri Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Feeling smug again, as I knew all of this months ago. so did pretty much everybody else, even if it hadn't been confirmed up to now it was pretty obvious that Pearson had been shafted.

No we wouldn't there's absolutely no evidence to support that opinion.
FrankieADZ Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Well Im not surprised. We get stable and in quite a good position league wise and then MM goes and well....goes arse over tit in his thinking. As its proved with Man Utd and Arsenal, the way to get successful is to keep with the same manager and so him a bit a faith.
Corky Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 We wouldve folded in my opinion. would u rather the club fold than take it on the chin that yes we were relegated thro the appointments that the **** made bt we never ceased to be and that is why we are all on ft as we still have a team!!! Folded? Seriously?
rams r4 sh*ggin Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 davieg as my comment states :- in my opinion!
Narborough_fox Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 No we wouldn't there's absolutely no evidence to support that opinion. I was talking to my dad about this and I have to agree, all that would've stopped would have been the big money signings like Clemence & Co. We may also of had to blood a few youngsters. We would of struggled our way through but we wouldn't have folded, no way.
rams r4 sh*ggin Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 didnt see a rush ov people lining up to buy us. the crippling debts from the ground was a huge burden on us
Matt Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 MM will be with Pompey from January. The deal is done. Can they not just take him now? I'll drive him there, and Lee Hoos. Queue a Milan legal battle with Pearson over 'speaking out'.
Philbert Fox Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 If Mandaric hadn't bought us some other investor would have done, the club has massive potential.

Guest Mee-9 Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 In my eyes, Mandaric never even saved the club. He'll do what happened with Portsmouth, Sell the club when it's at a decent position to people that haven't a clue about running a club, Rip them off. Then go to somewhere else, repeat this procedure. I've said all along he's a crook. The sooner he's out the better.
