Lillehamring Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 So yeah, the Beach Boys or Oasis? ooh, crushing. yeah, i post about the beach boys, i post about the snow - in the relevant threads, everybody, perhaps you as much as anyone, have there favourite topics. its a totally different thing to a bloke who just randomly posts in a thread some guff about his car or his lunch. it's funny now and again, but it wears pretty thin. anyway, it was just a cheeky dig, TPH and i have had enough to-dos to be able to have a jest... so, relax. he can be pretty funny sometimes, i just think when he was getting bored of the board, such observations were all he could be bothered with, especially as he had a little chorus of people who lapped it all up. mate, he's not the bleeding mesiah, it is possible that not everybody found him hilarious, but i'll keep my blaspheny to myself in future.

Lillehamring Posted 14 October 2010 Posted 14 October 2010 over reaction much? yeah, i should have waited for someone to come and post something on my behalf no, i was just disappointed that someone as smart as you could come up with a counter as weak as that, it was almost as if ash had hacked your account. this forum is great but it just really irks me that whenever TPH is mentioned (or present) everyone starts acting like a bunch of take that fans, it's not his fault, but its makes me laugh and then just annoys me. there's not much that draws an overreaction from me, but toadying to posters and misfired potshots are two of them. normal service will soon be resumed

I hate fanboi culture as much as anyone, believe, but I'd count TPH amongst the friends I've made on FT and there's a reason I'm not the only one.
