Bellend Sebastian Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 I'm a big fan of the big 'The Best' chocolate chip cookie, it seems to have most of a bar of chocolate in it. I learned yesterday that my protruding stomach is the result of a postural problem rather than me simply being a fat bastard so I think I might be enjoying more of them
Finnegan Posted 8 October 2010 Author Posted 8 October 2010 I could quite literally live in the Tesco bakery. I've worked my way through the cookie range, it's hard to pick a favourite. The chocolate ones with the white chocolate cream in the middle are especially lush, mind. The best time to go is like 2am when they're filling it all back up again. Omnomnomnom.

Why was I not aware of the white chocolate cream ones of which you speak? I have loads of good ideological reasons for not going to Tescos, all of which are conveniently forgotten when faced with the prospect of a nice biscuit. It's a bit like when there's a big demonstration on about some important cause and numbers fall short of expectations because it's raining a bit
Finnegan Posted 8 October 2010 Author Posted 8 October 2010 I like to support my local shop but my local shop will receive my dedication when they're open in the wee small hours selling freshly baked pain au chocolat. My flatmate and I are pretty nocturnal and used to have a regular habit at going at silly AM. I love an empty Tesco. In the name of peace, love and tolerance we need to make this thread longer than the EDL one.
Guest Bilo Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 As long as they do nice Tiger Cobs for my fishfinger sarnies, Tesco is spectacular. Morrisons are good for this, especially when you roll up 10 minutes before they close and get cheap bread.
Finnegan Posted 8 October 2010 Author Posted 8 October 2010 Tiger cob, roasted chicken breast, melted mozzarella and a pinch of pesto. Yes PUHLEASE.

Dr The Singh Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 You turbanated bastard. To be fair most of the stuff is the same and gets relatively mundane, only once and a while do they make anything that's wow!!! Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Tesco Express round the corner from mine, the cheapest stuff in there is all from the bakery section. Anything with cheese on it is gold.
Unabomber Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Been on a diet since June 1st and not been tempted to cheat once. And then this thread pops up. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
The Doctor Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 nevermind tescos. Morrisons do a lovely range flavoured breads (actually breads with peppers mushrooms and what not baked into them) and I'm currently enjoying some co-op chocolate cornflake cakes.
BoneDog Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 I've heard that some of the currants are actually cooked flies.
Walkers Wench Posted 9 October 2010 Posted 9 October 2010 Seems I'm the only one who goes into tesco bakery for a ,,loaf!
