Collier Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Thought he was younger than 25, never the less, this'd be an absolute gem of a signing. So, so pleased I can get excited about players we're getting linked with now (Roberts aside), instead of Kamil fucking Zayatte. Love you Sven.
Koke Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Thought he was younger than 25, never the less, this'd be an absolute gem of a signing Im surprised he's 25 as well. Thought he was at least 2-3 years younger than me. Nonetheless, he would be a great signing. Naughton - Hobbs - Davies - Berner That should sort out our leaky defence which have been shifting in terrible goals of late.
ajthefox Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 If this goes through that's a quality signing from Sven.
vinnieno1 Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Just being linked with players such as Davies shows the clout Sven has, God bless him! Only 8 points of 6th place, nice win tomorrow our season starts!! C'mon!!!
Ford Super Sunday Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Someone was right earlier, he was the little shit that came out and slagged off MON after he left Villa for not playing him more, obviously has a very self-inflated ego of his own ability. But if he can show it on the pitch for us I'm not too fussed. With Naughton definitely and Davies (seemingly) coming in, all I hope is that Hobbs place is guaranteed!
Soar Fox Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Put him in "the whishlist" thread, very happy with this if it happens.

There were rumours of several players slagging off MON when he left, ...he won't be the first player or last to moan after a manager has left that they didn't play them enough. If it was any other manager you wouldn't be bothered in the slightest

If it was any other manager you wouldn't be bothered in the slightest Actually I would, I was vocal in voicing concerns when we were linked with Sean St. Ledger because of how much of a coonty attitude he had when he was on that TV show a few years ago. Leopards rarely change their spots. What he has in his favour with me is that I seem to remember he publically came out in the paper after his debut for Villa saying he was rubbish, which is commendable. So long as he doesn't cause any unrest in the camp (i.e two games not playing and it's 'i'm off, i'm too good for this league') and there will be no problems. But thanks for assuming what I think, shame you don't know me as well as I do

You rightly pointed out what he said after his debut though so fair play for that....and the st ledger thing in my opinion is a little different but I do agree he is a bit of a knob !
bigneville Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Quality signing. He will only cause problems if he don't play and I don't think there's any doubt about that here!

fatmando Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 It was. Great day out that was....and then it was that Chelsea game the next round I think. Good times.
AndyBrew Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Have I somehow crossed into a parallel universe where everything Leicester City is good?
paddy Agyemang Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 This is one hell of a signing. living a dream if him and roberts signs get in there about time we snapped up some talent
mancunianfox Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 More good news. I think that the influence and contacts Sven has is starting to show. If we sign Roberts as well I don't think we really need too much else until January providing we don't have a major injury crisis. On paper Weale, Naughton, Hobbs, Davies, Berner, Gallagher, King, Wellens, Dyer, Roberts, Fryatt (or Waghorn depending on personal preference) is a top championship side imo. Looking forward to the game tomorrow.
sdb Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 only concerns are his attitude and fitness. if they're both in order, this is a treat.
cc_star Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 Any truth in this, the only thing I've seen is Mirror Football which make their articles up based on what they read on forums. btw if you're reading Mirror, I've heard Messi is coming to the Walkers

Maybe thats because we are fortunate enough to have some well informed members as well as the numerous pretenders.
okie fox Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 He's never impressed me at Villa. But he's good at championship level.
phillthefox Posted 15 October 2010 Posted 15 October 2010 has this been confirmed or just paper talk, either way its all good for leicester at present.... WE ARE GOING UP SAY WE ARE GOING UP
