Sven could raid homeland

Sven and Mancini have so much history, all good from what I gather that I can see Roberto lending us a player they have refused to loan out to others. He'll be in good hands under Sven and it'll benefit him, us and Man City. I can see it happening.

Man city are becoming our parent club.

:D

No complaints here!

My thoughts exactly haha. Also, I dont see the problem with getting new strikers in, waggy still has a long way to come, fryatt is very hit and miss lately, howard is...well howard.

That Advic looks quality, 6, 3" so could be a better Stevie Howard.

People keep moaning about getting more strikers but perhaps thats what we need to get promotion, I know some fans find it hard to stomach, but Fryatt, Waghorn and Howard perhaps aren't the class we need to get promotion. Don't get me wrong I think Waggy will be awesome but needs time to develop.

I know Fryatt and Waghorn are popular but both are seriously limited as strikers. In certain areas they are good to excellent but in others they pose little or no threat and I'd imagine Sven well knows this already.

A good manager should always be trying to improve his side and, equally important, should be looking at what his requirements will be in near or medium term future.

He needs to have a core of players who could move on to the Premiership because at the time of Pearson's departure we had very few and very little prospect of anyone coming through.

Never heard of Guidetti but rated pretty decent on Fm 10

Who needs a scouting network when you can just pick up a copy of FM.

LOLL look at those stats though. if football manager knows anything about the player in real, we could be onto a real gem here :P

I hope any future players that are signed will be good enough to go straight into the first team and improve it, our squad is huge now and full of bit part players so we dont need any more players just to strengthern the 'squad' I realise with the amount of managers we get through there is always going to be a few unwanted players signed by previous managers. Davies and Naughton perfect signings as they have improved the first 11, we dont need any more squad players.

Somebody mentioned Avdic a week or so ago, can't remember who it was though.

It was me, in the Darius Vassell post, I stated that if Eriksson s after a striker he should look close to home, he's scoring goals for fun in the swedish league, their top scorer, perhaps Sven's been looking at this forum. :-p
