Well they'd be making a mistake because the man they should have appointed years ago is too old now, and the others aren't good enough. The FA and the English Public seem to forget, that the last time everyone was calling for an English man to be in charge, they got their wish, then we failed to qualify for a major tournament for the first time in fourteen years. But I guess they all know best ....
Alexikokopops Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 If I wasn't on my mobile you'd be getting a +1 for this. Anyway, my choice would probably be Chris Sutton
Guest Bilo Posted 28 October 2010 Posted 28 October 2010 No idea but the usual names will be trotted out (Mourinho, O'Neill, Wenger etc) but I think that Stuart Pearce has been groomed as Capello's replacement for a while. English, no compensation package to pay to any club, knows the England players and would probably be a popular appointment because of his history as a player. That doesn't mean he'll be a great appointment though.
Manwell Pablo Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 If I wasn't on my mobile you'd be getting a +1 for this. Anyway, my choice would probably be Chris Sutton I would of thought he'd rather die than manage England.
Webbo Posted 29 October 2010 Posted 29 October 2010 I would of thought he'd rather die than manage England. Tbf most of England would rather he died as well.

Alexikokopops Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Team full of academy 18 year olds with "pace"? No thanks Not pace... IMPACT
Bugg Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Not pace... IMPACT You forgot that they have to be Hungry, and must all be like Alan Sheehan (yes I know he's Irish)
The Doctor Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 You forgot that they have to be Hungry, and must all be like Alan Sheehan (yes I know he's Irish) would have thought a mention of levi porter would be better here. England captain if thracian takes control.
Bugg Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 would have thought a mention of levi porter would be better here. England captain if thracian takes control. Louis Dodds would be banging them off target in up front.
Stadt Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Louis Dodds would be banging them off target in up front. He scored today
