I missed it due to watching poker but I'm joining in the celebrations.

Correct, but to be fair, Premier League Poker is a little more important than cricket

Thoroughly deserved - England bowled and batted extremely well and the Aussies were abject aside from Hussey and Watson.

X Doherty should be taken out and shot for crimes against cricket.

In fact, that is a stupid question to ask on here with you bunch of muppets.

Wow, spread the love why not you absolute WUM.

Think he figured the guy calling Swann a willy puller was an Aussie lol

I thought that too! Absolute spud.

Surely Swann will be Sports Personality of the Year??

Would be my vote but Mccoy looks a shoe in and the 2 golfers in with a shout too

Some bookies giving 6/1 on a Warne return for the Aussies. lol

Strauss timed the declaration to absolute perfection. Had we declared overnight with that score we'd have hat to bat again and an hour and a half after we bowled them out South Australia was under water!

I've never seen the Aussies this desperate and down.

After seeing them do it to others for 15 years, us mostly, I'm loving it right now.

Former England paceman Bob Willis has criticised members of the current squad for taking paternity leave during or before international commitments.

James Anderson returned home to England from the ongoing Ashes tour in Australia to attend the birth of his second child, while the England and Wales Cricket Board have confirmed that both Graeme Swann and Paul Collingwood have been given permission to miss some of the build-up to the World Cup in the new year with their partners due to give birth in mid-February.

Willis, who took 325 wickets in 90 Test match appearances for England, is not in favour of players being permitted to take leave if it adversely affects the team.

He told Sky Sports: "I don't agree with the Mothercare buggy-rolling thinking that modern man has. He should be on the cricket tour, that's his job.

"Two 24-hour flights in a week won't do him any good at all."

An ECB spokesman confirmed to Press Association Sport that Swann and Collingwood had been granted permission to attend the births of their children.
