With Broad injured, it's a perfect excuse to try and bring Sidebottom out of retirement.

Hoping to get to the 'G on Sunday for the last day of the tour match against Victoria. Will cost me a whole $2 to get in!

What a willy puller.

My thoughts exactly when I read what he said.

Also, if 'we're replacing Broad, replace him with the Leicestershire legend that is Alan Mullally.

I am just laughing at that tw@t on here last week who said Swann was a w@nker. Who is the w@nker now?

You have just proved your self too be a willy puller

Looking like it'll be Tremlett in for Broad for the third test.

Not even going to try and stay up for this, play doesn't start until 2:30 am,

Australia 28-3! Another poor start for them.

Collingwood's catch to take Ponting was 'outrageously brilliant!'

great start, we've gotta capitalise on this now and push on!

Could be a big series for us if this one goes in our favour

Poor shot from Mitchell - straight down Anderson's throat.

Australia need to put in a bowling performance that they don't really seem that capable of.

Oh Punter, what has happened?

When the top order collapses like the Aussie one has, 250 is a reasonable target.

Be thankful that Finn and Tremlett are giving away runs at the moment.

270 - 280 is a possible target.

I don't think the top order will collapse anything like the Aussies did today. I've heard conflicting reports about the pitch but it sounds as if it is actually quite flat and should improve for batsmen tomorrow. Add to that the fact that the Aussie bowling attack is nowhere near as potent as the English right now and I can see us going 2-0 up. Might be jumping the gun a bit but we look hungry and on form, whereas the Aussies look neither.

Another good day, hopefully Strauss and Cook can lay a foundation for a big score.

What a catch by Collingwood by the way.
