Great result today. Steve Howard has nerves of steel. 2 penalties in the space of 3 days. 4 points from the play offs. Local rivals dispatched. Jobs a goodun!!

Great performance today.... we have made up 5 points on QPR in 6 games only 13 behind them... with 29 games to go... I am saying no more!

Keep it up and bring on Forest....

Fantastic.

You can say a lot about the commentary team but they fcking loved that and it made it pleasurable to listen to.

What a great win that was , Also makes a nice change to have a easy last ten minutes :chant:

Spot on. Couldn't believe it, seemed to be all us in the last few minutes. Even at 2-0 I was nervous but we didn't let them have a sniff.

OK, so it wasn't an entirely dominant performance... but it was certainly good enough for a 2-0 win.

City gave the ball away cheaply a few times but look so much more comfortable on the ball than they did two months ago.

I can't even compare how much better Abe is in the holding midfield role than Moreno et al.

Sven seems like he really likes his fullbacks and center backs getting forward, but the team is well-organized; when Naughton and Cunningham went forward, there was Gallagher or Wellens tracking back. When Davies went up (and he's dangerous), Abe slotted in behind.

Home derbies help the atmosphere, but there's certainly a difference. I can see it in the smarter strategical and tactical decisions from the manager... the better passing... the better off-the-ball movement... the reduction in stupid defensive mistakes (despite that first Sheffield United goal)... the tenacity (Howard, wow)...

I can hear it in the crowd... and, it's hard to explain, but I can just feel all the way from here that Leicester City are a club on the rise.

Sven

yeh stringer and young are a great double act and their were in their element today. Either on their own would be useless but they cover all the bases when you put them together.

I am so fooking happy! :scarf:

agreed. the team looked thoroughly organised in terms of support and movement. another clean sheet, full backs bombing forward. Still look nervy at times and give the ball away a bit, but all in all, looking positive.
