But I'm pretty sure Elokobi would draw the same level of attention if a white player had the same physique. It strikes me that it's less about the colour of his skin and more the fact his bodyshape is just completely fucking alien for a footballer - and completely fucking tonk. Have to say, I was never really bothered about this thread until I saw the reactions from the Wolves fans. I love how confused most of them are.

I can see where you're coming from there in truth, though I do think it is more Elokobi's physique that attracts attention rather than anything else. He's built more like a prop than a footballer and it's rare to see that, whatever his colour. I do think the poster on that other forum misses the point when he picks out 'arbitrary white footballer' as an alternative because I can't think of any other footballer, black or otherwise, as absolutely fucking hench as Elokobi. It's the first thing you notice about the bloke, he's an absolute monster. I love how the Wolves fans just didn't have a clue! This has been a rather entertaining thread I must admit, but must have looked weird as fuck from the outside.
