Matt Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 Its gonna be shown on ESPN on sunday 9th january 4pm Kick Off. http://www.broadcasting.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=7506642
fatmando Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Oh bollocks I might have to stay in and watch this one then...otherwise I got no chance of upholding my justification to the mrs for that ESPN subscription.
Jay Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 It will be the usual statement on the OS "we've agreed to disagree with our opponents etc" and its been set at £25. The walk up/footfall this season has been very poor and Man City will put 2nd string out, I don't see the crowd being any higher than 22-23k and that's with about 3000-4000 from Man City. Myself and the other 3 ST holders that go with me have agreed £20 is our limit for a ticket. Shit... I bet we will have never have heard of some of the players then except Citys second string includes the likes of Shay Given, Shaun Wright Phillips, Adebayor, Lescott, Bridge, Viera, Michah Richards etc etc even the 2nd string team would be good enough to compete in the top half of the premier league
Bert Posted 4 December 2010 Posted 4 December 2010 Non-season ticket holders are 20 quid, adults anyway. Season ticket holders are 15 quid adults, under 22. Good stuff from the club. Obviously lower for younger ages.

Larry_LCFC Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Any word when these tickets are gonna be on sale?

lcfc"weasel" Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Lot better than what I thought they would be, cheers City!
kimmy619 Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Seems quite reasonable. Lets hope that there is a good turn out even though it is the tv!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 What do people reckon the score will be interms of relocating fans from L1. Seeing as though thats where the loudest support comes from you'd hope the club would have the sense to give them priority booking to relocate their seat in the block next door. I emailed the club about this today, but the only response I was given was 'ticket details have yet to be announced'

I emailed the club about this today, but the only response I was given was 'ticket details have yet to be announced' Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get dibs on seats next to the Man City fans, allowing you to give it the big 'un against some Prem League fans.... Apologies if I sound a little cynical, there's just a load of people in L1 at the moment anyway, who go there simply so they can tell their mates they 'have it off' every Saturday, a la Danny Dyer.

Fair enough. Witnessed enough of that after the forest game the other night. Talk about 'hold me back' No, I got my season ticket there purely for the reason of thats where the atmosphere is, plus being allowed to stand helps gernerate that atmosphere. edit- also if we can put together a bit of a run between now and then, I genuinely reckon we'd be in with a great chance of a cup upset- and one factor that'd certainly help would be if we could generate an atmosphere better than the derby one
CheshireFox Posted 7 December 2010 Posted 7 December 2010 so do we have any idea when ticket details will be announced and when they will go on sale? I've got to get to this game- OH is a huge Man City fan so he and his mate are after away tickets should be some great banter in the car down!

Probably about two weeks before the matchday - you'd think that's regular usus.
chavdonk Posted 7 December 2010 Posted 7 December 2010 I imagine Boxing Day to get the crowd up a little bit in numbers plus all the extra's will be going as its the traditional boxing day fixxture, quite a tasty fixture with leeds as well cos lets face it everyone wants to dick them scum
dannythefox Posted 7 December 2010 Posted 7 December 2010 Earth. Think you'll find that adult tickets are £20 and come out straight after the donny game. Earth haha yeh right.
eraserhead66 Posted 8 December 2010 Posted 8 December 2010 If it hasn't been mentioned already, the match is ESPN on Sunday 9th Jan. http://www.live-footballontv.com/

Larry_LCFC Posted 9 December 2010 Posted 9 December 2010 So the tickets officially go on sale at 5pm tomorrow (Friday). But the OS does not say whether there is a limit to how many tickets can be ordered. I assume it is unlimited? 15% allocation to Man City is a bit shit tho. Intimidation for the nation.
