Maybes Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 Tickets at the back of J3 secured. Does J usually stand?
Kitchandro Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 Tickets at the back of J3 secured. Does J usually stand? The top of it does. If you think about though, with the away fans being in L, J will be like K. So I'd expect it to be a good atmosphere there Me and my mate want to get 2 seats together in K or J. If we wait til after Boxing Day and get down there early what do people think about our chances? I'm a season ticket holder in there so that seat won't be sold out. What does everyone think?
Simmo86 Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 Tickets at the back of J3 secured. Does J usually stand? I reckon the women in the ticket office has mugged me off, she told us K and J were sold out! The best she told us we could get was H1.
Maybes Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 I reckon the women in the ticket office has mugged me off, she told us K and J were sold out! The best she told us we could get was H1. My mate sorted mine and his so I dont know what went on. However he said that they had reserved tickets in the best possible position in relation to our ST in L1. We are one row from the back in L1 and weve been given two seats at the back of J3 somewhere.
Father Ted Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 Why couldn't they have given more of the family stand to Man City instead of L1. Going to be a crap atmosphere now.
Matt Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 Why couldn't they have given more of the family stand to Man City instead of L1. Going to be a crap atmosphere now. You may have answered your own question there...
WAGHORN IS A BLUE Posted 13 December 2010 Posted 13 December 2010 do season ticket holders get to reserve their seats ?

I'm no expert in modern stadia, but wouldn't that mean the lads from L get pushed further round closer to the kop, meaning that the reverb will decrease, meaning a more unisounding chant? Just a thought.

How many tickets did you get? Me and two sometimes three of my mates sit about 6 rows from the back in L1, but when we explained this to her and said we would prefer K or J she just said no chance the best I can do is H1 I'll ring up tomorrow and see what the crack is. Dont mind being in the South Stand for a change but would prefer the K/J area.

Just a thought. This is what I thought, the quality of atmosphere in the blocks will just be pushed further down - with K being like L, J being like K etc

Tommeh Posted 14 December 2010 Posted 14 December 2010 You've not been to the Walkers before have you! Don't be such a disabled. Yes for Barnsley, Watford and Hull etc. It can be flat and weak as Hell. For this tie however, the opposition and the kick off time it should be excellent.
lestajigs Posted 16 December 2010 Posted 16 December 2010 got 8 tickets in j3 today row jj i should think most off k and half j3 will defo be standing!!!!!!
philce Posted 16 December 2010 Posted 16 December 2010 do season ticket holders get to reserve their seats ? Till boxing day I believe
philce Posted 16 December 2010 Posted 16 December 2010 got 8 tickets in j3 today row jj i should think most off k and half j3 will defo be standing!!!!!! Another L1 refugee here, we got 3 tickets in J3 today, only singles now in that area. With the current ST holders in K&J I think the club have blocked the rest of the seats out for L1. Mind the flasks when you stand up!!
lestajigs Posted 17 December 2010 Posted 17 December 2010 Can anyone see man city selling out for this?? I can't see it myself!!
Corky Posted 17 December 2010 Posted 17 December 2010 Can anyone see man city selling out for this?? I can't see it myself!! I can, they have a large away support.
Ashley Posted 17 December 2010 Posted 17 December 2010 Why couldn't they have given more of the family stand to Man City instead of L1. Going to be a crap atmosphere now. Segregation issues is why. Giving them the same allocation at Westbrom would go over the 15% allocation for a FA Cup fixture. The atmosphere will be good.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 17 December 2010 Posted 17 December 2010 I'll be in the usual J3, Season ticket seats Row LL.

Not when I relocated the last time I took the lad - seemed most around us were day-trippers who'd got their tickets as part of their weekly benefits. Score on the disabled-scale: high.

Score on the disabled-scale: high. ok I have 2 ST's in L1, called the TO yesterday & I got 4 tickets together all on the same row FF in J3! I recieved my tickets this morning, but on the ticket it written in bold writing at the bottom it says "PERSISTENT STANDING IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN" Does anyone think that the club might try to make us L1 rapskallions sit down now that we are on tele & have been moved? I don't wanna sit!!!!!!!
Webbo Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 I'm not getting my tickets till next week. Doesn't look like I'll get K now. If we're sat at the front I suppose it's only fair I'll have to sit.
