Narborough_fox Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Or maybe because he's been playing football non-stop since the start of the season. As well maybe doing his hamstring again.
Shrenchel Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Because he was playing shit at best? Thought it was a good move at the time to be honest.
Wymsey Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 If King was shite yesterday then i just hope its a one off or we will really struggle this season.
Walshy5 Posted 5 December 2010 Author Posted 5 December 2010 Because he was playing shit at best? Thought it was a good move at the time to be honest. Yes maybe he was playing shit but you should never take him off because how many times has he played shit but still popped up with a goal. He,s the only one that can score from open play for us at minute
Simmo86 Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Was he injured or is sven fooking clueless?! You know what, your right Sven is fooking clueless! Lets make you manager!
The Padster Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 I sincerly doubt Sven is clueless. King probably felt a pull in his hamstring and Sven being anything but clueless decided to take him off, it's just unfortunate that the man to replace him was Oakley.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Theres a clause in his transfer to Man Utd that says he cant play more than 70 minutes each game.
Bert Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Or maybe because he's been playing football non-stop since the start of the season. As well maybe doing his hamstring again. Not so sure about that. There was a few games at the start of the season when he was benched. Either way, he had no impact on the game.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 I was puzzled by the substitution, but maybe something went on which we dont know about. He didnt have the best game yesterday though, and Oakley only touched the ball about 3 times.
Swalker Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 He didn't have a great game and was virtually non existent throughout the game and I think Sven was just changing the system and resting him so that he doesn't become too tired come the Christmas period when we already know that we are going to be one CM down. It might be also to make sure he doesn't pull that hamstring.
Tilley Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Was he injured or is sven fooking clueless?! or maybe he wasn't playing very well? No point keeping a player on the pitch if he's not making an impact on the game.
Corky Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Kingy was struggling yesterday, for whatever reason. I don't think we'd have have done a great better with him on the pitch.
Tommy G Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 fooking hell sack Sven!!! He might be our best player but he is allowed to be subbed in a game, madness I know. Is this topic even worthy? I'd rather discuss what underpants Lee Jobber had on yesterday than this pointless thread
North-LondonFox Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 fooking hell sack Sven!!! He might be our best player but he is allowed to be subbed in a game, madness I know. Is this topic even worthy? I'd rather discuss what underpants Lee Jobber had on yesterday than this pointless thread I love Sven, but I find it hard to defend taking off an attacking MF with a knack of scoring goals and replacing him with a defensive MF. Yes Kingy was quiet y'day but how oftern is he quiet and then pops up with a goal. Nothing against Oakley, but I just can't understand the logic in that change. Why shouldn't we discuss things from the game that stand out to some people?
Webbo Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Was he injured or is sven fooking clueless?! What happened to; I wont bother anymore then im leaving this forum for good. Goodbye people
Father Ted Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 I wouldn't have minded if he had brought Dyer on the pitch, but Oakley?
North-LondonFox Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 That was my thinking. But all faith in Sven - at least we got the goal back and as some have said, Oakley did release Abe to get forward and he had a couple of decent chances!
Bugg Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Where's Frank Moussa? I want Moussa to play more games in all honesty, I think he's got something about him that'll make him a great player in the future.
1964FOX Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 fooking hell sack Sven!!! He might be our best player but he is allowed to be subbed in a game, madness I know. Is this topic even worthy? I'd rather discuss what underpants Lee Jobber had on yesterday than this pointless thread I have just texted him and they were dark blue Y fronts.
FoxyPV Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 I have just texted him and they were dark blue Y fronts. Did they have white trim and a leicester badge on the crotch?
1964FOX Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Did they have white trim and a leicester badge on the crotch? ah you have a pair of them as well. I've told him y fronts are old fashioned and gave him some of my thongs to try.
bettso Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 So in one thread, despite scoring twice, Gallagher is being called shit and apparantly should be dropped for Dyer because he doesnt work hard enough, but in this thread, Sven is an idiot and King should never be taken off because even when he's doing nothing he can pop up with a goal??? Here's an idea, how about instead of continuously searching for things to moan about, why dont we just support our team unconditionally. Every player, every decision, every minute of every fooking game. There isnt one player on the face of the fooking planet who doesnt acknowledge that if the supporters are behind them then it gives them a lift. Sometimes as supporters we piss all over some players whilst others are put on a pedastal and why?? What makes Andy King exempt from critisism but Gallagher is open season? Is it because King came up through the youth ranks? Are we that desperate to have another Joachim, Heskey et al? For christ sake, if we were as good at encouragement as we are critisism, the atmosphere at the Walkers would be electric.
