JamesLCFC Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 We have picked up 1 point out of a possible 6 in the most important time of all! Especially losing to a league 1 team is shocking. Why is sven sorting us out, were 18th aint we and people have games in hand over us?
wattolcfc Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Agreed, never thought we could this season anyway. But hopefully now everyone can stop going on about it!

Why am i bothering to reply to this thread?

U might aswell have started a We are shit! Get sven out thread!
Corky Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 I admit it, the top six is out of our reach whilst we lose almost every away game.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Never! if we win 5 on the bounce we will be right up in the play offs and I still think we are capable of going on a run like that.
STUHILL Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 I think we need to start thinking for next season more so now than we probably have been, i.e signing players permanent in Jan and not quick fix loans. QPR have millions and millions but it has taken them a long time to get to where they are. We need to be patient. We have a very good manager and I think he just needs time to learn the league and to build a team that can get promoted Of course we should be aiming for playoffs still but realistically we need to be planning for next season too now. Sven has a lot of work to do but I think he will get it right eventually
purpleronnie Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Hope so, no doubt if we win 2 on the bounce we'll be going up again. As I stated before a top 10 finish will be an achievement this year, I just hope we can keep sven next season. He's still got a big job on, all the teams below us have at least 1 game in hand.

somebum Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Did anybody but the seriously deluded and fanatical seriously think that Sven would somehow turn City into a team of title contenders? Southgate did not refer to him as Ian Duncan Smith for nothing. He lacks Charisma, tactical ability, motivational techniques - everything needed in a good manager. It is only because muppets become blind to all these things when somebody comes to Leicester in the old 'get behind the lads' mentality - it clouds their judgement. Listen, write off next season as well, and how many seasons Sven wants to stay. He'll have his agents working on the Owners telling them how wonderful he is and how much he wants to stay, trying to get him a big 5 year contract. Seriously man, if he was any good, why is he HERE? But, muppets will carry on with their support for him until it's too late. City fans are so fickle.
tylesta Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 it wasn't going to be easy to reach the prem from when sven took over it was a long shot it was always at the back of my mind but i wouldn't want to go the prem this season anyway i'd prefer to build a good team up this last half of the season and through the summer to press a proper challenge and have a decent squad instead of going up this season spending 1 year in the prem and most probally come straight back down i would want a decent squad incase of injurys people are moaning about oakley coming in today id prefer an in depth quality squad if we was to reach the prem
lestajigs Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Fair enough not winning away, but if we can't even win at home now neither! We got no chance, top half will be good for us!! WERE SHIT

Sven could be on a much more lucrative contract at a bigger club if he wanted. He could quit tomorrow and walk into the next prem team to sack their boss. He is here because he is motivated by achieving things and he recognises that getting Leicester back to the prem would be a huge achievement. and btw, how is keeping faith with somebody a symptom of being fickle?!

cc_star Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Never! if we win 5 on the bounce we will be right up in the play offs and I still think we are capable of going on a run like that. Never Sven is inept at motivating players to go out on the pitch, every first half has been shocking for months now He doesn't know how to keep things tight away from home... most teams play 4-5-1 away, not us Loan signings are proving to be no better than was already here (apart from Naughton) and they have only succeeded in an initial lift which has long since worn off, all they do now is clog up the first team and prevent our own playiers from improving together, messing Hobbs & waghorn around proves this. I am not in a Sven Out! camp, but boy does he need to book his ideas up before the owners decide he doesn't know what he's doing at this level

JamesLCFC Posted 28 December 2010 Author Posted 28 December 2010 Hey? im not saying its impossible? im just saying if we cant beat milwall away how can we beat qpr and cardiff away?
