How does Leicester make you feel?

As I have a boring mundane job, the highlight of the week is going to watch city. The anticipation on matchday, will we win, will we get off to a decent start or fall behind and have to catch up, the excited chatter of fellow fans walking to the stadium. Pint in the ground, taking your seat, post horn gallop, high and lows, standing singing, cheering, slagging, clapping and shouting. Despair in defeat, joy in victory.

What I can say is that for a few hours each week Leicester city makes me feel 'alive'

After Sunday's game i felt we could easily batter Brazil the way we played. It would be just us to lose to Preston today. lol

Addictive......I live in London and I'm only 17 so I get hastle for supporting 'shitty' Leicester, there all glory hunting shit heads so I ignore them because I love Leicester. God bless my dad for telling me "support Leicester, or you're moving out" best decision I've made :)

Ha ha exactly,

I spend most of the week trying to convince my non city mates what good football we're playing and then the week later we balls it against some one sh1te,

So frustrating but i think the disappointments make 3 points all the more rewarding. wouldn't change city if i could.

The ectascy to the bitter disappointment. The drama and controversy around our club. The sheer inconsistency week in week out that ultimately sees us go nowhere. The optimism when we win and relegation fears when we lose. This is leicester city

Same here with my uni mates.

For my 21st i got a signed walsh picture of him scoring against derby in the play off final. He said sorry we wern't born in Manchester in win trophies all the time. I thought about what he said and was releaved I was from Leicester, during my 21 years, what have Derby, Forest and Cov won and how many times they been to wembley?

A rollercoaster but definately worthwhile, off to Preston :scarf:

Having been exiled for 30 years and working most Saturdays its been difficult to get to live games. But my enthusiasm and love for the club has never died, since our relegation to Div 1 the excitement has returned. I'm like I was as a teenager following the club full of hope and anticipation on match day and the result determines my mood of the week/weekend. You can't get it out of your blood (not that I want to!!)

That's exactly my situation & feelings. Currently travelling for my job down to Plymouth, checking message boards and wishing I was watching the Yak make his debut today. City till I die!

It's like losing your virginity...

You think it will be the best thing in your life. You come to it with your heart in your mouth. And it all ends up in disaster when you fumble around too much...

...we live in Hertfordshire and my seven year old supports City. All of his mates round here support Arsenal or Tottenham and they were giving him a hard time at school about supporting Leicester.

...however, some of his glory hunting Arsenal/Spurs mates saw Leicester play Man City on ESPN. They have now told him they think Leicester are pretty good. I think I am winning the battle now to keep my son on side - just need to win at Eastlands now !

Mine too. Bought my 5 year old a Leicester City shirt for Christmas, he didn't want it but I made him wear it for the whole day anyway. I shall continue the brainwashing until it is ingrained enough in him that it's Leicester or nothing.
