broughtonblue Posted 15 January 2011 Author Posted 15 January 2011 Addictive......I live in London and I'm only 17 so I get hastle for supporting 'shitty' Leicester, there all glory hunting shit heads so I ignore them because I love Leicester. God bless my dad for telling me "support Leicester, or you're moving out" best decision I've made as a dad i gave a similar message to my kids, both season ticket holders, done me proud
Rich_Sheffield Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Supporting Leicester is the best decision I've ever made. love 'em
FoxyPV Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Usually it makes me feel good but it has been mainly heartbreaking this season. Extreme lows to highs and back again in the space of 90minutes and then the inevitable frustration after the match has finished. Onwards and upwards as always.
broughtonblue Posted 15 January 2011 Author Posted 15 January 2011 It puts lead in my pencil. bit embarrasing if you are standing at the walkers or watching in a pub?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Wish I wasnt a Leicester fan, or a football fan at all actually. Supporting Leicester itsnt good for your health, give you hope, get you excited and make you look forward so much to a match then they can just let you down, which happens a lot of the time. But you love them, and cant get enough of them for whatever reason. You reaise how much they mean t you when you are literally shaking whilst watching the Playoff Semi final second leg before crashing out on penalties which was heartbreaking. They make you feel sick, they give you so much hope and then let you down. Its like a drug, you get addicted and cant give it up, but even though you despair and moan about your club as they cause you so much pain, you'll never give up on them and for some reason when they are poor and in League 1 you're still proud to support them because they are your club.
Corky Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Frustrated, generally we have a great, unexpected result then come back down to earth with a bang in the next game. Leicester has given me superb seasons and awful seasons, like most sides in the country. If only we could win every week
The Doctor Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 brilliant and depressed - often switching between the two frequently in every match. This is the 9th season i've been going to watch city on a regular basis and, despite several of those seasons being miserable championship mediocrity, i don't regret a single minute.

J.Lisemore Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Brilliant sometimes but mostly piss me off, and end up thinking why the **** do I bother.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 See what I mean by when I say 'they then let us down'. Done it again today. Get you all excited thinking how we are going to really do something this season, and how we're going to go on decent run. Then despite dominating the game, we concede an equalised and chuck 2 points away to a shit team. Causes you to despair it really does.
acooling08 Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Today Leicester has depressed me no end. Should have been 6-1.
wurmer Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Like a leaky bag of crap most of the time - but can't help myself coming back for more.....
ajthefox Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 Today Leicester has depressed me no end. Should have been 6-1. Oh I can imagine your depressed, it's no wonder really with you sat their in your armchar thinking 6-1 would've been an accurate reflection of the game. Got up today, left my flat at 11.35 and got to Deepdale about 15 minutes before ko. Spent about 50 minutes pretty content but eager for more, spent about 30 minutes feeling brilliant and from then until now, I've been looking around wondering how we didn't win. Most of my mates are glory hunters and they bring out the "Leicester are shit" bollocks on occasion but **** em and **** they're titles, they've got no idea how much of buzz being loyal fan is. I accept the lows because without them you would have no highs, and one thing is for sure, I wouldn't change being a city supporter for the world. Viva Leicester

Viva Leicester Brilliant, the club needs people like you and the other couple of thousand who made the effort today. Last paragraph shows what the club means to us. Without the the fans their wouldnt be a. Club!
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 How does Leicester make me feel ? Its anguish, ecstacy, joy & despair. Mostly frustrated.
ibbosuk Posted 15 January 2011 Posted 15 January 2011 As I have a boring mundane job, the highlight of the week is going to watch city. The anticipation on matchday, will we win, will we get off to a decent start or fall behind and have to catch up, the excited chatter of fellow fans walking to the stadium. Pint in the ground, taking your seat, post horn gallop, high and lows, standing singing, cheering, slagging, clapping and shouting. Despair in defeat, joy in victory. What I can say is that for a few hours each week Leicester city makes me feel 'alive' Makes me feel fvcking ill.
Brown Fox Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 I don't think anything is worse that watching or listening to us in the last 5 minutes of a game when we're only leading by one goal. I just want to tear my face off. As happened when Hume scored yesterday as I now have no face. But supporting Leicester is the best decision ever. The high I experienced in the away end of Cardiff when King put us 3-2 up in the semis will live with me forever. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. Then there are the sickening lows such as getting relegated to the third tier for the first time in our history and seeing kermorgant throwing away our shot in the prem right in front of my face. All in all I wouldn't change it for the world.
Tom17LCFC Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Always looked at it like this. you look at the fans of the top 4 prem clubs, and when their team scores they'll stand up and clap looking almost uninterested. with us though, any goal is met with sheer elation. a defeat at the weekend wrecks my week, desperately hoping the next weekend we can put it right, and no matter how much it hurts I wouldn't have it any other way! Leicester till i die!!!
