Finnegan Posted 12 March 2011 Author Posted 12 March 2011 Face it, you were shit. I'd say on the balance of the game we were a bit less shit. Not the best advert for the game, though. It's been a very, very scrappy tournament. The three of us (France, Ireland, Wales) have all been pretty terrible.

BTW what was up with RO'G's kicking then ****ing Sexton? Joke. I hope we beat England next week so you can sneak it.

Joke. I hope we beat England next week so you can sneak it. I do as well. But we basically need Scotland to keep the score down, you guys to rape them by about seven hundred points and then us to somehow beat France. I wouldn't put money in it. If they lose both games and we do the frogs then I'll honestly promise to give up something bad for like a few days.
Finnegan Posted 13 March 2011 Author Posted 13 March 2011 That may well be the tackle of Patterson's career. If they somehow win this they'll surely remember that.
The Doctor Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 the pass for englands try was foward, therefore only 15 of your points are valid, that win is not legitimate and neither is any resulting grand slam/triple crown. I'm claiming a moral victory and england fans, how does it feel knowing you had to cheat to beat us at your own ground?
ScouseFox Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Scotland still awaiting anything from this Six Nations, hope Italy finish above them.

Fact is the officials didn't give it. Wipe your tears away.
Sparky Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Dogged display from the Scots, fair play to them. Big game next Saturday now away from home for the Grand Slam, just hope we dont choke.
Finnegan Posted 13 March 2011 Author Posted 13 March 2011 I said a few weeks ago that I can't see you beating Ireland away from home. But to be honest they, like us and France, have been very, very poor. Because of that this game will probably mean a lot to them but it'll mean just as much if not more to the English. You'll have to do a lot better than you did today, however. You've got the championship in the bag, let's be fair, but I think you'll probably do it with 8 points not 10.

Webbo Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 I love it when the lesser nations get uppity. Fancy thinking you had a chance.
The Doctor Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 we've only won at twickenham about 4 times in the past century - then we're cheated out of victory against our greatest rivals like that and you expect me to be gracious in defeat? call it sour grapes if you want but i am absolutely fuming, we played well, we deserved something and we lost out on a victory due to a poor decision by the officals, just like ireland were robbed last night. edit: and ireland, win against england - do for the rest of us as well as yourselves. The english are arrogant enough without winning the triple crown/calcutta cup and grand slam this year.
ScouseFox Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 This is just a warm up for our world cup win anyway, we don't even care that much
The Doctor Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 not a chance, the saffers, aussies and kiwis will smash you.
Webbo Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 not a chance, the saffers, aussies and kiwis will smash you. This is what it must be like to be a Coventry fan.
Head Honcho Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Scotland will have a good tournament this year and will play England for the triple crown on March 13th......... France will win without doubt. OK so not one of my best predictions
Finnegan Posted 14 March 2011 Author Posted 14 March 2011 Neither Ireland nor Scotland were truly robbed. For a start, this is rugby, every player on both sides constantly plays on the edge of the rules and you get away with what you can get away with, it's as simple as that. Sometimes the decisions go your way and sometimes they don't. It's gutting when they don't but to claim you were robbed when just one, small thing wasn't given? Silly. Scotland went in to the game to play anti-rugby and they got what they deserved. As for Ireland, you really think it would have made any difference if it WAS the correct ball? Half the team had just switched off and they got punished. They were poor, from start to finish, made needless mistakes and STILL butchered a match winning chance in the last minute. They weren't robbed they were crap. Scotland weren't robbed they were just second best.

Finnegan Posted 14 March 2011 Author Posted 14 March 2011 Do we need to go back through history and highlight every try Ireland have scored that broke the rules? Youngs' try against Wales was illegal and cost us but I'm not still crying over it am I? It's rugby. PS: If you were mocking LargeAl and not still being grumpy then sorry for being a dick but the point still stands.
Finnegan Posted 18 March 2011 Author Posted 18 March 2011 Bit of a weird one, this weekend. What happens after the final whistle if England lose? I mean they can't actually hand them the trophy until we've played our game, presumably. Despite how unrealistic it is that we'd put twenty or thirty points over France it's still possible. If England lose the game but win the championship they get no presentation? Or what? And, in theory, what's to stop Ireland winning and then France (if losing in the last fifteen minutes) relaxing and letting Wales just run in a few more tries to tip the balance so that England lose the Championship? Not suggesting for one moment that the French would do that, that England will lose or that Wales will win but surely both games should be played at the same time? I appreciate that that would eat into coverage and viewing figures, but still...
Finnegan Posted 18 March 2011 Author Posted 18 March 2011 If you could, win by about 35 points. Should do it.
