VampLCFC Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Do we even know if he has a broken ankle or not??
Liamlcfc1 Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 So much for his WBA is a bigger club then Leicester they hardley use him and send him to Sheffeild utd who lose to us
gh09lcfc Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Some places say bad knee injury, some places say ankle injury but I don't care he's just a piece of trash who betrayed our club and beats women up next he will be involved in knife crime.
Guest bennytwohats Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Breaking news: Football fans in being wankers shocker! Let's be fair though, doubt most people would have boo'd if they realised he had broken his ankle.

He was receiving oxygen, was down for ages and stretchered, doesn't take more than a couple of braincells. Banter is brilliant, but abuse is something that should be saved match officials :-p

Thracian Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 What goes around so often comes around. I don't like to see anyone badly injured - not even Mattock - because I'd rather live by my own standards than his. But life does have a nasty habit of catching up with people. My overall feeling was one of indifference. He's become a non person to me. I really have no interest in the guy.
BedsFox Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 I didn't like the way he left the club, or the legal incident after. He comes across to me as an arrogant big time charlie, but as I have never met him no idea if that is true I joined in with the catcaslls in the first 30 minutes tonight However without exception I don't want to see a player seriously injured. I stood in silence when he was treated and didn't jeer him off. I thought those doing that showed a lack of class, we should be better than that. Just my opinion
thybluefox Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 I'm really split over it all, he doesn't give a shit about us or the club and he's done some shameful things in his time as a footballer, but I don't like to see any footballer suffer serious injury (obviously not as heartless as some of you lot) End of the day though, I'd take a broken ankle and abuse for 5 minutes if it meant I could be lucky enough to play professionally.

Just my opinion Totally agree BedsFox - it is clear the way Mattock left Leicester left a sour taste in the mouth for most Leicester fans and in a way its karma that he's out of favour with WBA etc etc but as for the injury we shouldnt be jeering him off if it was that bad? However wiil say i still think he is a tw**

Kitchandro Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Hang on a sec, there are people that have said tonight (not saying on here necessarily) that he might have played his last game of football ever. Why should I care? I've never played a game of professional football, does anyone sympathise with me? No. But if I had been in his shoes 2 years ago I would have shown the Club a lot more respect than he did. And furthermore I wouldn't have beat a woman up. That man doesn't deserve to play professional football, so if he never does again it will be his just desserts, and if I may say so, karma. Yes I laughed, and no I have no sympathy. He'll live, but hopefully he won't get to play the game that many of us would give anything to play professionally.
Kitchandro Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 He's a scumbag. Anyway, who cares? Think Joe Mattock gives a fcuk about your life and career. No. This Doubt he cared about the woman he beat up either.
Haydos Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 I really don't care. I'm not gonna say I don't like to see it happen etc. I have no respect for him. Bad luck for him if he doesn't make a comeback but it's not gonna ruin my day.

Just my opinion Yup certainly lacks class, and yes we should - Why sink to the level that he did when he made two mistakes in his life, (not treating us with respect & the whole woman thing) Apparently he's shattered his knee, and possibly won't play again

I don't remember him apologising for either. You can think what you like about us having no class but Mattock himself can't have any complaints. At worst he is now slightly better off than us still (you know, with all the money he's got etc)
MPH Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 wether you believe in Karma or what goes around comes around... i find it slightly amusing that of all teams for Mattock to have such an injury against it had to be us... all the leaving us for a better club, the rudeness and disrespect he has shown us, the down right arrogance and horrible personality the infamous punches thrown, and even at a woman... and then this happens. Against Leicester.
VampLCFC Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Why have we even got a thread about him? The guy is a clown!!
BoneDog Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 How did he get the injury? If I remember right from listening on the radio it wasn't from a tackle or anything. Not sure how you can get a shattered knee (if that's what the injury is) from falling wrongly on grass.
ajthefox Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 I can't quite remember because it was from nothing really and wasn't a tackle as you said. Him and Naughton were chasing down the ball I think and he just sort of went down funny as they turned or something. Pretty sure his studs just stuck in and really when you think about it, it's their fault he got injured cause the pitch was awful
Tommeh Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 Fvck off. No sympathy whatsoever. Chants aimed at him fully deserved.
THE MAGICIAN Posted 2 February 2011 Posted 2 February 2011 For anyone who has sympathy for the MUG, just pretend for one minute that the women he hit / beat up was your Mum / Daughter / Sister and tell me that you still feel for him ? Feel free to post that you still care ??? Mattock.......
