The next games...

Do you think we'll recover from this... It'd be so typical of Leicester to go in to a slump we always seem to this time of the season aswell. Thoughts?

On another note - We have to play QPR, Forest, Norwich and Burnley and there is at least 1 strong reason why it'll be very difficult to beat them.

QPR - Top of the league, great home form.

Forest - Almost unstoppable at home.

Norwich - Score late goals and an overall solid team.

Burnley - Bogey side :(

We've got Cov before that. A win then would boost the confidence.

QPR - will be tougher than today to get a point or 3, so it's not looking good.

Forest - If Preston can get a draw there, then we can get at least a draw.

Norwich - We'll be relying on our home form to get us through this one. Hopefully we score enough to ensure late goal(s) don't matter, even if Norwich are known for scoring them.

Burnley - Again, home form should get us through this.

It's clear to see which 2 games are the toughest. It will show us how much character our squad has. It's all well and good beating mid-table teams, but the real tests, like tonight, show how good our team is.

Finally, it's worth remembering that although the QPR and Forest games are vital, it's not the be all and end all should we lose them!

Slightly concerned about Coventry - our performance seems to be dipping at the most inopportune moment.

We can afford to loose 3- 4 at a push games by my reckoning! you can't expect us to pick up maximum points from here on in? we would accumulate 90 points if so, which would more than likely get at least second place, it is annoying that we have dropped three points today but it isn't the ned of the world. the lads wont want a repeat of this and god forbid them if we don't give cov a pounding! so we just need to keep backing the lads and what happens will happen! In sven we trust

Yes we will recover from this, apart from the Derby 1st half we've rode our luck a bit so hopefully this will focus peoples minds on the task in hand. The playoffs.

Starting against Cov

Finally ppl have realised we're not in play offs yet. There was talk of auto promotion before we even got into play offs and we may still not get there. We are still 3 points off leeds which is still catchable but it will take another 3/4 games min to overtake leeds if we are to get into play offs. The season starts now. Forget our brilliant run, its about how we do from now.

Sorry did people actually expect us to win every game for the rest of the season?

13 games left and we still have the chance to beat the top teams as mentioned? Cheer up it didn't sound like an embarrassing performance today and maybe we will play better in future not worse, Bring on Cov in my opinion!!!!

This. I am too. Many key players like Wellens and King sounded tired and this could be a key factor as to why they aren't playing up to their best standards. The last two weeks, we had many games and the game on Saturday imo, they may not recover from the rather hectic schedule. :S

I'm actually more confident of a result at QPR than Cardiff.

Oddly enough I'd agree.

I think Cardiff have a better squad, are probably a better footballing squad and on their day are a better team than QPR, who might have a little less ability but are more organised and resilient.

Similar to how we were last season and this season in respects in that last season we were much more gritty and mostly won by a goal or maybe two, whereas now, when on form we can and have torn teams in this division to pieces.

I said elsewhere that we would lose sometime soon. It might as well have been away against Cardiff, in a game we were unlikely to win (or at least had to have been at our very best to do so), against a team we're unlikely to catch and on a night when other teams in the play-offs also dropped points against teams they should have beaten. Looking at it that way, it doesn't look to bad.

What matters now is that we beat Coventry on Saturday. If we do that I can really see us going on a roll again.

If we beat the teams below us which is paramount, the loss at Cardiff only puts a tad more pressure on the difficult away games highlighted to get a result!

If we can win the next three games, which is going to be very tough, we will be right back up there and the Cardiff result wont matter as much!

Every game is paramount now, really excited to see the response at Cov! as after that we have a week to prepare for QPR!
